He’s there on a whim. She’s there to help her aunt. They’re both missing something. Can it be each other?
“Find your Perfect Match this summer at the seaside...” The Forever Yours matchmaking agency is hosting a vacation package week in Seaview, Florida. Taking a break from her busy but unrewarding life in Chicago, Callie Winthrop has come to town to find respite at her beloved Aunt Fran’s bed and breakfast.
When the CEO of Forever Yours – who just happens to be staying at the inn for the event – offers Callie the opportunity to attend the activities and meet the most eligible bachelors in the country, how can she say no?
Jackson Thorne, a successful Tampa contractor, can’t believe the nerve of his brother, who actually thought it was a good idea to sign him up for a matchmaking vacation this summer. Jackson acknowledges, however, that he has been avoiding commitment ever since his last relationship ended in tragedy. Hence it may actually be good for him to start dating again – much as he would hate to admit it. Maybe there’s even a chance he could meet the woman of his dreams this summer?
Warm your heart by reading this sweet clean romance about starting over today! Bonus section with recipes included!
About the Clean Slate With the New Year comes hope for a better one. A clean slate, if you will, to leave the past behind and start fresh. For these characters, that’s exactly what they intend to do. They’re not running away; they’re running toward something new.
International bestselling author Annee Jones writes romance that ranges from sweet to scorching, sassy to dark, contemporary to fantastical. Perfect for your coffee break or midnight escape—quick reads for wild hearts.
Outside of writing, Annee works as a disability counselor where she helps her clients navigate through complex medical and legal systems while rediscovering their wholeness in Spirit. She loves practicing Barre, relaxing in the sauna, and staying up way too late reading.
As I read this story, I caught myself smiling over and over, a true testament to the character and heart of the author. Callie had been proposed to by Hunter but felt a heart tug elsewhere as she agreed to participate in a singles gathering. She was also experiencing a pull toward The One who had once held her heart but life’s circumstances had caused a drawing away. Would not only a decision between two eligible bachelors be on the table but also a decision to once again trust the God she once knew be also? A book that will fill the reader with joy, hope and faith, one from which everyone will glean inspiration.
Jackson attends the matchmaking event with trepidation, he really isn't looking forward to taking part but attends as he promised. Callie thought she was going to work for the summer but gets drawn into the dating event, she is wary but hoping for fun and laughter. Both find more than they thought, but trusting their hearts is easier said than done. This is a sweet romance but is also heavy in religion...so if you don't like Christian Romance it's not for you. I enjoyed the light-hearted activities and characters who will bring a smile to your face. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
I really enjoy Christian Contemporary Romance and I also LOVE reading books that are part of a series. Forever Yours by Annee Jones is Book 3 in the Clean Slate Series. The series is written by various authors. I have not read other books in the series yet, but I was excited to read this book.
Callie Winthrop has come to her Aunt's B&B in Seaview, FL for a break from life in Chicago. She is very tired from her busy life and just wants to recharge for a couple of weeks. She arrives at her Aunt Fran's B&B at the same time that the CEO of Forever Yours Matchmaking Company is staying at the Inn. Callie is offered the opportunity to attend the Forever Yours Conference to meet Eligible Bachelors. She thinks it would be great and accepts the invitation. Jackson Thorne didn't have any intention of attending this conference, but his brother signed him up and he came. Jackson has been reluctant to date because his last relationship ended in a tragedy. He is encouraged when he arrives and actually begins to think that this event might be good for him. Jackson and Callie meet and they are quickly drawn to each other. Will there be a "LOVE Connection" between the pair? Will the break from life in Chicago become a Summer of living in FL or longer?
I was immediately drawn to the storyline and book. I could not put it down until I finished it 4hrs later. Callie was anticipating spending time with her Aunt Fran and relaxing at the B&B, never did she think she would be at a Matchmaking Conference. Jackson Thorne was still dealing with the loss of his last relationship and wasn't quite ready for LOVE. I think one of my favorite things about Jackson is that he has a strong faith and Callie sees that in him. She has strayed away from her faith, but his strong faith encourages her in her Christian faith. I The author does a wonderful job of telling the story and captivating the reader and the Characters are wonderful. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian Romance books. FANTASTIC BOOK!
This is a fun romance novel. A matchmaking agency! I haven’t seen those in a book set in the modern day before. Most that I’ve read are from the 1800s.
Callie hadn’t been planning on going to a matchmaking event. She’s working for the summer. Instead, the woman in charge gives her the gift of going to the event. She thinks it’ll be a nice change of pace. But she’s not planning on finding love.
Jackson did not sign up for the event! Instead, his brother signed him up without him knowing. And now he’s going. Because he does think it’s something he needs to do with his life. But he’s not really happy about it.
I’m not sure that I’d want to do this. But I also kinda think it might be nice if there was a service that could find the perfect person for everyone. I could see myself doing it for friends or even possibly my kids if they are wanting to get married but not finding anyone that interests them.
NOW FOR THE STORY! I loved watching the characters get to know each other. Both characters are sweet and wholesome. The romance is clean. The content is also fully clean. This is the perfect light-hearted romantic comedy. I love to read these types of books when life around me is not all quiet. When I need a break from the world and don’t want to dive into a full-on suspense novel. Sometimes you just need something light.
I have voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from Celebrate Lit. All views expressed are only my honest opinion. I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way. All opinions expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the FTC regulations.
If you are looking for a sweet and clean story look no further. This book is a fast read but it sure has some great lessons in it. Our two main characters find themselves both looking for answers when they meet at a B&B. The B&B is run by Callie’s aunt and is the perfect place for Callie to not only help her aunt but also to get some much needed time away from work. Her character is sweet and hard working but a little confused about a relationship she is having trouble committing to. I like that she has a passion for baking which will come in handy while helping out at the B&B.
Jackson is in town thanks to his brother who signed him up for a matchmaking vacation which happens to be sponsored by someone staying at the B&B. I couldn’t wait to see where the author would take Callie and Jackson on this adventure to find love. Jackson is not quite thrilled about the matchmaking but maybe he can at least find a friend. The different activities they have all the couples participate are fun and really help break the ice. I wonder if anyone will find love?
What I like about the book is that it is faith based and definitely has some good lessons in the story. For Callie it is trying to figure out her life and finding her way back to God. Jackson is grounded in his faith and this helps Callie to be drawn to him. Trust seems to hold one person back but will they learn to allow God to direct their path? Don’t miss this fun story with wonderful characters and a special little puppy with a cute name.
I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion.
This is an enjoyable story about changing directions in life to find the future that God has for you. Callie seems to have it all. She has a successful career that’s rapidly moving upwards in her dad’s company. She has a handsome, talented boyfriend who is also focused on his career and together they have the potential to be known as a “power couple”. But Callie isn’t sure that this is the life she wants, and she leaves Chicago to spend the summer and assist her aunt with her busy bed and breakfast. Callie is invited to join the “Forever Yours” matchmaking agency’s “getaway” week being held near the B & B. This week has the potential to change Callie’s life, but only if she’s willing to turn to God’s guidance for her future.
There’s some amusing moments in the book as Callie participates in the matchmaking activities. Callie is a delightful young woman; and it was easy to cheer for her to find the happiness and purpose she was seeking. This book is light-hearted reading and perfect for when you want something sweet and entertaining to read. The theme of having faith and following God’s leading runs all throughout the book.
I voluntarily received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.
Forever Yours is a sweet and clean contemporary read that is written by Annee Jones. I love the way that this author pulls her readers in with such well written stories. Callie Winthrop heads to her aunt's B&B in Seaview Florida, looking for a break. She works in Chicago and needs to reset. However, she is staying at the same time that Forever Yours matchmaking agency is hosting a vacation package. Callie is offered a chance to attend the activities and she decides to partake in in.
Jackson Thorne is signed up for the conference by his brother. He is not happy about it. He has avoided relationships since his last one ended in tragedy. He goes along, reluctantly with the conference. He and Callie are drawn to each other. Seeing their relationship build was heartwarming.
The author did a great job in writing in the faith element to the story. Callie needs to find her way back to God - while Jackson is very grounded with his faith. The story and characters are well written and this was a quick and clean read.
Thank you to the author, publisher and Celebrate Lit for allowing me to read a copy of this book - all thoughts are my own.
This is the first book I have read from this author. Reading the blurb for this book let me know that I was going to read a sweet and heart felt book. The author did not disappoint. The character development in this story is outstanding. The way the author writes Callie and Jackson almost has you feeling like you are right there - a fly on the wall per say watching to see what is going to happen between these two. This author also has the ability to draw you in with every chapter. Turning pages as fast as you can read to see what is going to happen next. The feelings that come across with the struggles that Callie must face and decide are ones that all of us can understand, a gift this author has to draw us the reader into her story. Does Callie follow her heart? Does she just walk away and never find what she is looking for? This book is a bright light giving you a joyous feeling, a spiritual tug and a feeling of happiness. I would recommend this book and this author to everyone. Don't let this pass you by.
Forever Yours by Annee Jones is a Christian Contemporary Romance. Callie Winthrop takes a break from her job and life to come to Seaview, Florida, to relax and help her aunt with her Bed and Breakfast. But she finds herself caught up in matchmaking events with Forever Yours matchmaking agency.
Jackson Thorne finds himself attending the same event courtesy of his brother. He is a successful contractor. The two find themselves connecting during the event. The author does an excellent job developing the characters and the storyline.
The story illustrates how sometimes you find love and your soulmate when you least expect it. I love how Callie not only finds love but also finds the career she needs.
So if you enjoy Christian Contemporary Romances, check out Forever Yours by Annee Jones for yourself. I definitely recommend it.
I received a complimentary copy of this book, but this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own.
Callie thought she had everything she wanted. A job she loves and the man of her dreams. When her boyfriend, Hunter proposes she realizes that something is missing. She goes to stay with her aunt for the summer to help her widowed aunt with her B & B. Callie enjoying cooking for the guest. She gets asked to join a singles group even though she hasn’t accurately broke up with Hunter. She’s loving all the dating events. She enjoys guests too, especially Jackson. His brother paid for this matchmaking event. Jackson has a contractor business and works too much. Jackson seems to be pulled to Callie and Callie to Jackson. Is it meant to be? Will Jackson find out about Hunter? She’s hasn’t broken up with him yet, though it’s just a matter of time. Will he forgive her? Callie realizes what is missing in her life. Faith in God. What a wonderful story.
Forever Yours is part of the multi author series, Clean Slate, and a contribution to it by the talented author, Annee Jones. I enjoyed this quick and sweet story of love, faith and hope. I loved getting to know the main characters of Callie and Jackson. Their story is slightly predictable but definitely worth reading. I thought it was a heartwarming tale that took me no time to read in one sitting. A wonderful way to spend a rainy afternoon.
I am giving Forever Yours four and a half stars. I believe lovers and fans of clean romance will want to read this one and not regret it. I would be interested in reading more by Annee Jones in the future.
I received a digital copy of Forever Yours from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
Callie was the only child of a widower father, who was a workaholic since her mother died when she was little...so she became part of his PR firm, but her heart wasn't in it, or with the man her father picked from his company to marry her, Hunter...so she decides to take a working vacation to help her Aunt Fran with the busy season at her B&B in Seaview FL...as a group attending a matchmaking agency session from "Forever Yours" was taking all of the B&B's rooms...but will a Tampa contractor and a PR lady from the North get together??? You will need to read this story to see what happens...I voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.
This book is a short book about a match making summer weekend. It is a very clean read and has a few statements of Gospel truths as part of the story. There is a little bit of forgiveness in the tale as well.
There are questions and recipes at the end of the book and I think I am gonna try at least one of them.
I was given a complimentary copy by the author and Celebrate Lit and these opinions are my own.

Review:
Annee Jones is so amazing at writing these short but packed books. She's an incredible writer. I think what I love best about her books is that they are all clean and wholesome. This one is no different. There was a point in the beginning that I thought it would be annoying. I thought that this would be the one Annee Jones book that I didn't like. I was wrong, and I'm so glad for it. I really would have loved to see this book longer in all honesty. Maybe a follow up book so I can see how things go from there? Either way, I'm happy I read it. This author has become one of my favorite authors. I will definitely keep her books around for comfort reads.
