Alex has a secret: she's a government tool because she can create alternate versions of herself with highly specialized skills. These versions help save the world again and again. Ever since Alex turned 18, she's annoyed at all the attention the other versions receive while she stands in the corner watching.

But now, that's all changing. With her second adventure, Alex tags along to San Francisco to find a missing psychic. Amy is on the run from the rogue agents who want to use her talent in their plan for world domination.

Can Alex and Jane track her down before SKAR finds her first?

SPLIT-SECOND SIGHT, the second installment in the ALEX UNLIMITED series, takes Alex beyond her initial irritations with her controlled lifestyle. She's starting to find her true self outside of her government identity. Yet, she can't deny her responsibilities. Her actions create tension in the book to which all readers can relate.

Split Second Sight was just as crazy and action packed as the first Alex Unlimited book, The Vorsarak Code. It was fun reading about Alex's latest adventure with her latest alter ego Jane, girl who is an expert on all things that is supernatural in this and other dimensions. It was also good to hear Alex whine less about the woes of being not as pretty and as experienced as her alter ego it made me like her even more for that. I also liked that I got to learn little bit more about her parents. Dan Jolley is doing a pretty good job with the series so far and I'll definitely be on the look out for book 3 True Chemistry.

I like how much Alex is growing as a person. I have to say she is handling life-long indentured servitude to the government far better than I would! I hope one day we will learn about Alex's parents...
