She saw Lin as her great friend and also someone she adored but one day she knew Lin was but a woman. The princess got what she desired but she lost her own heart.

Absolutely banger of a Chinese historical political/military drama like novel but based on sapphic characters with a central sapphic couple but with very cut throat fight for the throne maneuvering plot.
