Meet the first recognized Autistic Comic Book Superhero, The Zephyr! The Zephyr presents characters from their Steampunched adventures in a special coloring book. Meet Michael, who is The Zephyr as a young student, and his schoolmates. People will also find magical characters who aid The Zephyr in his special quest. They will also find Dr. Moebius and other characters who will present problems for our hero.
Then, people will find templates to create their own comic book or books. They will also find speech bubbles, thought bubbles, narration bubbles, and callouts, along with instructions for their use.
This special combined coloring book and comic template is presented by Face Value Comics, the publishing arm of Autism at Face Value. AFV is a 501c3 non-profit with the aim of supporting and affirming Autism appreciation and greater understanding of both autistic people and the world autistic people must navigate. FVC and AFV were created by Angela Kot, Dave Kot, and Sky Owens, the creators of Face Value Comics, Steampunched, Zephyr Kitty, and Winnie and the Boo Crew.

Dave Kot spent his career working with clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) He specializes in non-verbal communications through facial expressions. Inspired by his work, Dave took it to the next level by creating Face Value Comics, a steampunk story with a central teenage hero that has ASD (and a robotic aide.) In this comic, our hero Michael and his bio-droid T.E.S.S. have adventures but also have to deal with day to day problems such as difficulty reading people’s emotions, and dealing with alien invasions.
Angela is the president of Autism at Face Value (a 501c3 nonprofit) and is coauthor and publisher of Face Value Comics. Angela strives to cultivate welcoming, diverse communities by encouraging neurodiversity acceptance, advocacy, and education
Sky is the Vice President of Autism at Face Value and so much more. Sky brings over forty years of comic art experience to the pages of all Face Value Comics current publications. A leader in independent comic publishing, Sky pays it forward mentoring aspiring comic artists and encouraging them to tell their stories.
