I really enjoy the books by M.A. Comley and I was delighted to be able to get my hands on a copy of this book, See No Evil. The blurb for the book sounded really good and I really hoped it would live up to my expectations and I am delighted to say it did, in fact it exceeded them – this is probably my favourite book in the Justice Again series so far!
The plot was very well developed and the book was well written was I would have expected. The writing style was punchy and had the perfect amount of detail that drew you into the story and held your attention right through to the end. The story was really addictive and I loved that it kept me guessing as to what might happen next. I had an inkling as to who was responsible and it turned out I was right but the ending was still perfect!
The characters in the series are great and I loved being able to catch up with them. I liked that DCI Roberts was more involved which is probably quite reflective at the moment of the situations with staffing levels and that it had a snapshot too in to Katy’s home life and it was good to show that she is only human!
This is another 5 star read from me for this one, a very well developed and gripping plot – very highly recommended and a great addition to this series, I can’t wait for the next one now!!

I remain in awe how this author turns out so many books over several different series and knocks each one completely out the park. The only downside is finishing the book and the wait for the next one. tHighly recommended.

Another excellent book from this author.
Justice rises & what looks like suicide originally is looked into and what follows will keep you hooked until you finish.
Fab series, another fab series I should say!

Another day, another cracking book from this, most prolific, author. This time Katy & Charlie get an outing in the Justice Again series.
We start with what looks like a suicide. A woman lies dead beneath a tower in the university. She was a mature student and her peers have differing opinions of her state of mind and also the state of her marriage. It could also have been murder. Katy and Charlie remain open to all eventualities.
And then, with their investigations still just starting, there's another death, linked to the first by virtue of the victim being in the same social group. This time our duo are more sure of foul play. And the stakes get even higher when a third body turns up, also part of the group. Katy and Charlie not only have to try and bring the perpetrator to justice, but also protect those in the group who are left...
Wowsers. Another cracking read from one of my favourite go-to authors. As with all her other books in whatever series, the story is well crafted and delivered, once again, without any waffle or padding. Delivering shocks along the way, culminating in a very satisfying ending. Series characters continue to develop, main and supporting, and the episode characters also play their parts well. And, to my ongoing delight, there's also a smattering of the author's now trademark banter to be found. Some quite amusing.
All in all, another cracking addition to an already bulging back catalogue. Roll on next time...!

Katy and Charlie are back with a complex case. What looks like an apparent suicide, turns out to be more sinister. If anything it made me glad how thorough the pathologist is in their job as Paula’s death could easily have been put down to her taking her own life. With the pathologist’s keen eye for detail and Paula’s family adamant that she would never take her own life, Katy and Charlie soon realise this is not going to be a straight forward case.
There is something always heart wrenching when it comes to losing a child and whilst the victims in this story may not be classed as children, they are still young with lots of their lives ahead of them to look forward to which makes you more than sympathetic to the poor parents. I didn’t even want to try and imagine what it must feel like to have a complete stranger stand in front of you with news that will tear your whole world apart. It made me feel quite melancholy.
See No Evil will put your heart through the wringer, not only due to emotions running high but also having it racing due to the mounting tension and suspense as to who the killer could be and to why they were killing people. The story takes an even more frightening turn which had me holding my breath as to how high the death count could end up being. It really makes for some heart pounding reading.
My thanks to the author for an advanced readers copy of this book. All opinions are my own and not biased in anyway.

Excellent and Highly Recommended
As one expects from this talented author, this is another fast moving and suspenseful story that stirs many emotions for the reader.
The ‘Justice Again Series’ continues with yet another extremely challenging case for DI Katy Foster, her Partner, Charlie Simpkins, and the team.
A very talented, mature student is found dead and, at first it is suspected she has committed suicide, having thrown herself off the roof of the university building. A suicide note appears to support the theory. But why would a popular and happily married, mature student, with excellent grades, resort to ending her life in such a way. Did she fall or was she pushed?
Then, yet another student from the same group is found dead. Once again it appears to be a suicide. What is prompting these young people to kill themselves.
All is not well with Katy and AJ when she returns home after a long and exhausting day only to find him sitting and laughing at their dining table whilst sharing a meal whilst their daughter is asleep upstairs.
It seems her life is in turmoil.
The story is full of tension and suspense and kept me guessing to the very end.

Woah, what a book! Once again another thrilling story from the ultra talented M. A. Comley.
I couldn't put this down, and read it over the course of one day, completely hooked on trying to solve these crimes. Initially Katy and her team can't even be sure if its suicide or a murder, but as there is more loss of life it soon becomes apparent that there is killer on the lose.
I had half an inkling as to who the murderer was but I was definitely wrong but equally it somehow didn't shock me as to who it was, but the motive eluded me completely.
I was gripped by this story, I just couldn't get enough of it and I always loving catching up with Katy and Charlie and seeing how their partnership is developing. And the few references to the original Justice series were well received by this fan at least!
Another fantastic book from my favourite criminal mastermind!
Thank you to the author for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

Another fantastically, brilliant read, by this very talanted, and amazing author. MA Comley never disappoints and once again has you gripped and on tenderhooks right to the very end.
We join Katie and her partner Charlie and the team, who all work tirelessly.
Starts with a mature student who seemingly has committed suicide, by jumping off a buildings roof in the university grounds, where a group of students meet up in the roof, whenever they can. They are a very close group of friends and shouldn't actually be up there. What follows is obvious Shock waves, being very frightened and many unanswered questions. This story really keeps you guessing and is packed with very surprising things. I could never have guessed the end. Can highly recommend this read, plus the whole series, and all MA Comleys books.

Another great book in the DI Katy Foster & DS Charlie Simpkins series.
This team of highly skilled detectives certainly have their work cut out with this new case.
A crime has been committed on university grounds. At first the pathologist is not sure if it was suicide or murder. When the second death occurs to another student who would never take her own life they link the two & come to the conclusion that they have a serial killer on their hands.
Before they even get to grips with solving these two deaths a third death is discovered & the anti is upped to find the killer & protect the students that are left.
A thoroughly enjoyable read, which I always get from this author.

When DI Katy Foster and DS Charlie Simpkins are called out to Jackson University to a suspicious death ..at first it seems like a suicide , but the Pathologist as well as Katy have their doubts..Why would a top grade student who has so much to live for do such a thing? It falls to Katy to break the news to the victims family and friends ..to be told by each of them that Paula Lowe would never have killed herself ..Just as the case begins , the following day there is news of another death by suicide..but DI Katy Foster doesn't believe it to be so ..Will Katy , Charlie and the team find out what really happened to these two young women ..? Fast Gripping and Emotion packed storytelling ..

I was unaware of the characters in the series so I might have been a little behind in that area but the author gave enough background that I was able to follow. I thought I knew who the killer was early on but it was just a gut thing and I had no evidence to back it up. I might have been yelling at Katy and Charlie to listen to what they were saying, as the author surely was giving us clues without us knowing. I enjoyed this book.

The latest instalment in the Justice Again series and this book doesn’t disappoint.
A close knit group of university students start taking their own lives, or do they? Are the rest of the group in danger? Is it murder and if so what’s the motive and who could be the perpetrator?
A real whirlwind of a story. Can DI Katy Foster & DS Charlie Simpkins solve the mystery, despite Katy’s personal issues.
Really recommend, can’t wait for the next.

Katy and Charlie are back in this gripping new story.
Who is killing of students from the local university and why? Trying to disguise the deaths as suicides, if doesn’t take long for the pathologist and Katy & Charlie to realise it’s murder.
This is another intense read from the author. I couldn’t put this one down and read it in the same day as I was so engrossed in the story.
It was great to have Katy and Charlie back again. I liked the side story involving Katy and her husband, AJ. I hope there will be more stories from this great duo.
