A red-eyed tree frog takes readers through its life cycle from egg to mature adult.
An engaging, informative, but perfectly succinct look at these colorful amphibians for beginning readers. It had just enough text. The illustration style is eye-catching and engaging (befitting the subject). I’ve read other books on the life cycle of frogs, and this was better than most. Definitely recommended for curious readers, rainforest animal studiers, and kids studying red-eyed tree frogs specifically.

A red-eyed tree frog narrates its own life cycle from when it was an egg, to a tadpole, and to its final stage as a frog. This was an engaging and easy to understand read because the frog narrates it. There's a glossary in the back to define the words in bold.
