Jiggles hairstyle need a change

Some times I can’t belief the stuff that gets through the overly moral Amazon algorithm then I read this lol superhero/ furry wet dreams perverts of the last 20 years over.

Now the story has it’s high and low point but ever chacther fills important like the is trying to create a real comic book universe which really got me into joying the book the the naughty material was just a bonus.

So i went into this book completely blind. I literally just bought it off the amazon kindle store because it looked neat. and...well, this was definitely an experience, i'll tell you that. Basically imagine if the Avengers, merged with zootopia and P-hub. That's essentially this book. (i was unaware of the p-hub part going in).

Guy named Orpheus gets isekai'ed into a world of superhero anthro characters and gets ...questionable superpowers. The book is essentially him acclimating to the world and them having to fight the big baddie who's a lady praying mantis.

All in all, the story is fine, Orpheus is an acceptable main character, and there are enough characters with enough personality to make the story fun. So why did i give this book 3 stars? Oh. trust me, i wanted to give this book a solid 4, 4 1/2. i REALLY did. But i couldn't. do you know why? THE GRAMMAR. Dear sweet merciful jesus in heaven the GRAMMAR. The first half of the book is fine. Maybe a few errors here or there but nothing to ruin the experience. But the second half of the book. Holy crap. it's like the author did a single draft in an hour and didn't edit it once. Characters named are spelled wrong, incorrect variations of words are used "We'll instead of Well" and just overall the sheer amount of incorrect word usage and grammar was mind boggling. It actually got distracting to the point that i had to put the book down for a while.

If i had had a physical copy i would have taken out a highlighter and highlighted all the grammar errors. and if i had, the book would have glowed brighter than an 80 watt bulb.

I don't know what happened. I really don't. I feel like the author gave up editing halfway through said "ah the hell with it, that's fine. no one will get this far anyway" and didn't bother editing the second half. I've read a LOT of self published books and i've NEVER come across THIS MANY editing mistakes. It's almost impressive in a way. Just for the sheer amounts of egregious errors, i can't give it the score i would like to.

There were a lot of fun characters. Webby the spider girl, Minnie the mouse (yes that's her name) and Leon the lion are just a few characters which all have their own unique personalities and for the most part, i enjoyed all the characters. The plot, while definitely very silly and meant to be adult, was still fun in its own way and i had a good time while reading it. (the book was nearly 400 pages but i hardly even noticed) that's impressive on its own. that it was 400 pages but i didn't seem to care.

He definitely used some phrases WAY too often. like for example, if i had a dollar for every time he said "Popped his/her neck" i could have bought this book physically twice. He needed some new words as sometimes he would say the same word in the same sentence and that was another part of the language of the book that took me out of it.

The book, in itself was fun, and if the book was handed to a proper editor, i could see this book EASILY being a 4, 4 1/2. but i just CAN'T in good conscience do that having gone through the second half of the book and all those horrifyingly bad grammar problems. Still though, i enjoyed it enough as it was (especially the first half). Although i wish his descriptions on the characters physical characteristics were a little better as i had some trouble visualizing some of them.

All in all though, i'm giving it a 3.5 out of 5, but i HAVE to round it down to a 3, even though it pains me, because my god dude. Get an editor for that second half. Holy jesus.

3.5 out of 5 rounded down to a 3.

Great new funny series

Okay so the book was fun to read, main character was a little hard to like since he was so weak, but his powers made up for it long enough for me to get invested. The Minnie event in the beginning was when ya got me interested due to the humor in it. The other team members we well created, even Hung had me laughing. The Stack scene was even better! Definitely worth reading. Only issue would be grammar. It’s sometimes hard to read. I hope you continue this series definitely fun, light and entertaining!!!!
