The Heartless Mobster Cillian Shaughnessy has a reputation for being violent. He is the kind of killer who can get any job done, which is why his boss sends him and his partner in crime, Aspen, to Miami to finally rid the Killough Company of an enemy. As long as he has his best friend, Aspen, at his side, he can take on any assignment, no matter how difficult. No target stands a chance.
Friends Become Closer Aspen Kavanagh has always had Cillian’s back, no matter what. Going to Miami with Cillian seems like it will be a regular hit, but the game has changed. They no longer want to dance around each other. Once, a long time ago, they almost dated, and those feelings have only grown over time. As their personal relationship blooms, they’re met with unexpected threats that put their lives on the line. Aspen is willing to risk it all on the job and with Cillian, even if it means Cillian might dig a knife right into his heart.
Two Killers, One Target The enemies of the Killough Company are smarter than Aspen and Cillian expected, and the longer they spend away from home, the more dire their mission and personal lives become. Cillian doesn’t want to admit what he feels for Aspen, and the struggle brings them new issues. Can Aspen and Cillian figure out their relationship—or will their target find them first and put an end to their love before it even begins?
I spend most of my days writing, editing, and perfecting the craft of storytelling.
A note to readers: I don't hang out on Goodreads or social media, so if you have any questions about my books, please check out my website, which I host with M.D. Gregory.
There was some serious UST between Cillian and Aspen throughput the previous books which came to naught mainly because of Cillian (I think).
As we know, Cilian wasn't the best person but his loyalty to Aspen was undeniable. What needed to happen and I believe what Aspen craved was the deeper emotional connection that Cillian kept avoiding but eventually got set on the way of admitting his feelings .
True to form, this book has way too much sex(even when they should be concentrating) but that’s how this series has been from the beginning so I knew it was going to happen and skipped those I didn’t want to read.
I had thought this might be the last book in the series but the epilogues make it seem like there is more in store for our guys!
There is just something about these guys that I love so, so much. Every book in this series just makes me so happy. This book mainly focuses on Cillian and Aspen building a relationship, but we certainly get some Vail, Fallon and Rowen action as well.
Cillian and Aspen have always had a complicated relationship. Both wanting more than they have but never taking that step because they are stubborn and can’t talk about their feelings, Cillian more than Aspen. Cillian irritated me in some parts throughout this book. He really made things more complicated than they needed to be, all because he had this dumb, macho idea of masculinity drilled into his head by his father. It takes him a while to see past that. Honestly, that’s my one beef with this book; there was a good portion where Cillian and Aspen weren’t even talking to one another and it made me so mad. They did have smoking hot chemistry though and there’s a club scene that is…whew, HOT. I absolutely loved how Cillian realized he could be *almost* soft with Aspen. Seeing that side of Cillian made all the irritation worth it.
Things heat up between the Killough Company and the Reyes Cartel. There is a slight cliffhanger at the end of the book, but it does not involve the core 5 so I was okay with it. I am hoping we also get to see more of Rowen in the next book because he didn’t have a lot of page time here.
Overall, this was a great read. Watching all of these men find their own connections within their found family warms my heart and I am already excited for the next book.
So much chemistry!!! I love this Irish quintuple so much!!!
There is just something about these 5 men that intrigue, complement and confound that makes for such a fantastic read.
As we continue their ongoing story, a mafia war is coming and things are getting dangerous and oh so thrilling!! This story focuses on Aspen and Cillian as they face their feelings and battle for dominance as they find their relationship changed, challenged and confronted!
The story is fast paced, dynamic and passionate, I can't get enough!! If you haven't checked out this series or these deliciously dark and dynamic authors you need too!!
Omg, book 5 cannot come fast enough right now. I wasn't sure how much I'd like this one with the focus being on Cillian and Aspen, but wow, this was just as amazing as the first three books. Cillian does a 180 while Aspen keeps on steadily. Lots of action in and out of bed, and I don't just mean smexy times. This book was a wild ride!
KU, contemporary, book in a series, mafia, action, MM, MMMMM, polyamorous, death of a side character.
If you’ve read my review from the previous books in this series, you know I LOVED book one and two and was very disappointed in book three, this one tho’? Oh, I have been back at feeling almost as much love as I felt reading book one and two.
The way this book started pissed me off from the start because Fallon was back at it, stealing all the attention from Vail, but I relaxed, and I waited to see where this ride will take me. I have NOT been disappointed.
If in book three the dynamic was horrible, in this one the dynamic was as perfect as it was in the first two books of the series. While I disliked Aspen with a passion in ‘How did you survive alone?’ I loved his demeanor and the way he was in this book.
Aspen and Cillian have a long and complicated history together, and you can tell how in love they are with each other and how much they love each other just by looking at them. They are each other's world. The history these two share is the reason why Aspen will never leave Cillian’s side. I think in a way they are soulmates. Their love runs deep and they are each other’s ride or die. We know from a fact, and we even see that in this book, that Aspen would die for Cillian. Remember how in the previous book Cillian asked if he had to save Fallon or Vail who would he choose? Well, in this one there is no question because IT IS OBVIOUS.
I loved seeing the love between these two transform from something that was dormant to a fire that raged with the power of a thousand sun’s. There is something so special about their bond that you cannot stop looking at them become this powerhouse of chaos and madness.
While I struggled to go through book 3, this one… I freaking read it in one sitting. I couldn’t stop. It was like I was possessed. I needed to know what will happen next, what will they do? What will tip them over the edge? Their story was not easy, they are both very dominant in their own way and of course their personalities clashed multiple times thorough out the book. I loved how Aspen knew Cillian so well that he knew when to push and when to stop and take a break. How to make him come out of his shell on his own, how to open up. It was beautiful to witness that. Cillian is not an easy character to love, even though I love him the most along with Vail. He is set in the way his father raised him, and the trauma of that emotional abuse is not easy to overcome. Cillian is a work in progress and we will continue to see that. What I HOPE is that he will not be letting all go with Fallon, because while Vail brough out of him all those emotions alongside Aspen, it would not be fair to give Fallon all the pieces that he is keeping from the other two men. Fallon does not earned that right in my eyes.
One thing that I absolutely loved was how Aspen remembered that Vail is his boyfriend, cuz… you know… he forgot that in book three. He made sure to always be available for Vail if needed, worried about him, made sure he was ok, and that made me go back to liking him. He did the same with Fallon and tbh it did not bother me as much as it did in book three, because the balance he showed in this book was exactly what should’ve happened in the previous book.
Cillian was a similar story. While he is still pretty much in love and obsessed with Vail, he knew how to balance that when it came to Vail-Fallon-Aspen. He made sure everyone got his attention ( as much as they could given that he was away with Aspen for most of the book ).
This book is action packed, a lot of things are happening in the Company and Sloan’s empire is put to a hard test. I appreciate Sloan more and more with each book because Vail’s security is not something his playing with, just like with Conall. His Pet gets the best of the best and he makes sure that Vail is in the same boat, always. The friendship Vail has with both Conall and Sloan is something I would like to see more of, but since we don’t get any Vail POVs we can’t. I swear, 90% of the reason why these muppets ( Aspen, Cillian, Rowen and Fallon ) are not dust is because Sloan does not want to upset Vail. He knows how much Vail loves his men and he would never try to take that away from him. He know how it is to love someone with everything you have and he extends the same curtesy to our Doctor.
While the action is heating up, we get to witness a few other things happening between other pairs in this poly relationship, and while I am excited to see how things will develop between Rowen and Aspen, I am definitely NOT excited to read about Rowen-Fallon and Cillian-Fallon. I just don’t want to read entire books of Fallon being needy and trying to steal everyone from Vail.
This is a 4.5 stars for me. I cannot give it 5 stars no matter how much I LOVED Cillian and Aspen because of… you guessed it… Fallon.
While I ate this up and could not stop reading, when I got to the epilogues it took me 3h to finish the book. Why? Because… again… Fallon. Everything was going so well, the first epilogue from Cillian POV was how this should be, I was happy, but then the others came along and I was pissed.
When we finally got a Vail POV, surprise-surprise… NOT… it was AGAIN about Fallon. Vail was AGAIN the outsider, looking at the other four from inside of the greenhouse through a window, just like he did the whole book 3. An outsider looking into his own relationship. Stop making him feel so ok with all this just for the sake of the story. This is not something that is feasible long term. This is not how a relationship works, goddamnit. If this is how you people are in your personal relationships… uff… You cannot build a long lasting thing if someone is constantly shoved aside. Vail is not only someone who is after the sex, he has feelings too, so stop acting like he is always ok with everything and never jealous. No sane person is like this. I am ok with Fallon getting jealous, Cillian, Rowen, Aspen, they have the right, this is where communication starts, where they recalibrate and understand where the issue is, saying Vail is never jealous and always ok with everything is unrealistic and wrong. Of course it makes people disregard him. I am not a jealous person by nature, not a feeling I feel often, but I do feel it from time to time, so this is why I’m saying that it is not real to think that Vail is always happy with the other guys doing all sorts of things and him standing there always watching with a smile on his face and a heart full of love. He was so insecure in his own books that is stupid to think that stopped. The guys never got out of their ways to make him feel secure in that regard like they’re always doing with Fallon so… what makes you think our Doctor is always ok?
As I said in my review for book three, I am not an expert in poly relationships, even tho’ I’ve been in one, but THIS, whatever Fallon is doing is NOT it. When you try to steal all the attention for you, when you try to steal the others from your other boyfriend, that is not it. NEVER. As I said, I hope Vail will come to his senses at some point and dump their asses just so that they can understand what role Vail plays in their lives, how they often toss him aside and how it would be without him… work for him, you know? They truly do not deserve Vail and he doesn’t deserve to be taken advantage of, which is what is happening. Everyone knows that Vail wants them to be together, love each other, and they take advantage of that. The only one who seems to remotely think about Vail is Rowen. For whoever read the whole series and forgot, Vail wants this for everyone because he wants everyone to feel all the love, all the attention, all the appreciation. He thinks he is NOT ENOUGH. While some might find some excuses for Fallon’s behavior ( the way he was treated his whole life & his age, which I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND, BTW ), they seem to forget how Vail fell into all this. Not only does he think he is not enough for his men, but he was also someone who got tossed aside by everyone he met because of how he is. It is not fair for the authors to make him feel comfortable with what is happening and ignore that. Ignoring one’s trauma while riding high on another person's it is not fair. Why is Fallon’s trauma more important than Vail’s? Just because Vail is better at hiding it, or forgets? No… not ok.
Whenever we see Vail and get to be in his head he talks how he wants Fallon to be loved more than anything. How he wants him to feel special because he sees Fallon’s need for that, acknowledges it, respects it. He loves all of them so much that he would do anything for them. He would even get himself and his feelings hurt as long as the others are happy. THAT is love, not whatever Fallon and Aspen are doing.
When Vail found out that Cillian and Aspen are together, they asked him if he would like to see them together and he said yes. They know how much he loves to watch the others get love and feel good. What the authors do? Make Fallon witness Cillian and Aspen together. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK? WHY? AGAIN, WHY? It feels like every time Vail says something about what he would like to see or do, they go out of their way to take that from him and give it to Fallon. I mean, if Fallon is your fav character, just say so… I guess. I’m not saying Fallon doesn’t deserve anything or some shit like that, he deserves the world too, but it doesn’t need to be at the expense of Vail. It doesn’t need to take away from Vail to have it for himself. This pisses me off more because Vail is the only character between these 5 who actually makes his wishes known. He is the only one who truly communicates like a normal human being with a freaking brain.
The only time when Vail gets attention fully these days is when he is alone with Fallon. I know, shocking, but he gets it because Fallon gets off on having all that love and attention on him, and the others respect their time, unlike him. Whenever Fallon and Vail are together are basically the only moments when I DO love Fallon. I miss the way I felt for him in book one and two when he was my precious boy, my baby with golden retriever energy.
I am scared to start book 5, especially since we still don’t have the next book out and I am scared of the wait, and how Cillian will change when it comes to his wee bug, but… I am just not excited. It’s Fallon again. Rowen is, as I said, the only one who seems to really think about Vail, and having Fallon try to steal all that attention from him for an entire book with how sweet and romantic Rowen is I bet it will get my blood boiling in no time. Fallon’s neediness pisses me to the point that I am mad when I see his name on the page, let alone read about him ( aside from the moments when he is with Vail since those are the only moments when he deserves love ). And don’t even get me started on how Rowen was ignored most of the time in this book. I get that Aspen has nothing going on with him and Cillian is his brother, but damn, Rowen felt like that stranger you see walking down the street daily, you know about his existence, know his face but don’t hear anything about how his life is, how he’s doing, if he’s ok or not.
God, I will go now and start book 5, but goddamnit if this one will be like book 3 I will scream. As I said in the review for ‘How did you survive alone?’ I’m continuing this series solely for the plot, I want to see how that gang war will go and how it’ll conclude… and for lil glimpses of my precious Vail.
In conclusion, 4.5, let me know ( if you’ve read the book ) what you think about this book and if you agree with what I think, I am legit curious.
Another great book in a awesome series. Can two mafia alpha males give in to their inner desires. Sent to Miami for gang business, there are missteps in dealing with Reyes group and trouble at home. Cillian and Aspen are learning more of each other and concern about lovers at home accepting relationship. I received this book free for honest review
I really like Cillian In previous books i didnt care about Aspen, i mean he’s cute with guys and all that buy i just didnt care about him….but here, damn, I couldn’t stand him for like 95% of the book. I don’t like him and C together 🤷🏻♀️ Also Sloan getting arrested, Fionn being shot…I’m stressed i cannot do it🥺

"How Do You Survive a Kiss?" delves into the tumultuous and perilous lives of Cillian Shaughnessy and Aspen Kavanagh, two lethal enforcers for the Killough Company, as they navigate the treacherous waters of their profession and the deep undercurrents of their personal relationship. Set against the vibrant and dangerous backdrop of Miami, the novel explores themes of loyalty, love, and the high stakes of living on the edge of the law.
Cillian, known for his ruthlessness and efficiency as a killer, is portrayed with unexpected depth. The novel peels back the layers of his hard exterior to reveal the complex emotions brewing underneath. His relationship with Aspen, his best friend and longtime companion in crime, serves as the emotional core of the story. The narrative adeptly captures the tension between them, a mixture of unspoken desires and fears, hinting at a history filled with close calls and what-ifs.
Aspen, for his part, is a compelling character in his own right. His loyalty to Cillian is unwavering, yet he harbors his own desires and apprehensions about crossing the line from friendship to something more. This dynamic is the driving force of the novel, as both men confront their feelings amidst the chaos of their mission.
The setting in Miami adds an extra layer of intrigue and danger to their assignment. The vivid descriptions of the city complement the high-stakes nature of their job, creating a pulsating backdrop for the unfolding drama. The mission, meant to be a routine hit, spirals into a complicated mess, challenging the protagonists in unforeseen ways and testing their skills and resolve.
What sets "How Do You Survive a Kiss" apart is its ability to blend action-packed sequences with deep emotional storytelling. The evolution of Cillian and Aspen's relationship is handled with sensitivity and nuance, showcasing the authors' skill in character development. The suspense of the mission intertwines with the personal drama between the two men, keeping the reader on the edge of their seat both for the outcome of their task and the fate of their relationship.
The novel doesn’t shy away from the darker aspects of mob life, including the moral ambiguities and the toll it takes on those involved. Cillian and Aspen are presented as flawed yet sympathetic characters, their loyalty to each other and their complex feelings providing a stark contrast to their violent professions.
In conclusion, "How Do You Survive a Kiss" is a riveting blend of crime thriller and romance that captures the essence of its characters' lives with intensity and emotion. It's a story about the strength of bonds forged in the fires of danger and adversity, and the possibility of love in the unlikeliest of circumstances. For fans of action-packed narratives with deeply emotional cores, this novel is a compelling read that proves love can find a way, even in the heart of darkness.
The boys are back! I have missed this group so much and was very excited to read this installment. Book 4 of the Irish Roulette series picks up where we left off with Cillian and Aspen being the focus of this book. I know I've said this before, but I love how each book focuses on one part of this polyamorous group. I love being able to see how the relationships grow and develop over time.
Cillian and Aspen are sent on assignment to Miami to get revenge on the Reyes family for the bomb that almost killed Conall. There was a lot of action in this book and of course, Cillian being the stubborn eejit. :) He clearly cares about Aspen, but man did he fight kicking and screaming to admit that. Cillian often says hurtful things to protect himself and that was seen in full glory here. His anger, pain, and love for others were palpable. Ki and Meg do such a great job writing a sympathetic a*shole. That is such a hard line to balance. How do you make him mean, cynical, but also vulnerable? They do a tremendous job. There were times I was frustrated with Cillian, but I completely understood why he behaved that way. Aspen was pretty great. Loved him.
Fallon still remains my favorite of this group. Even in the small glimpses, you could tell he just wanted to be loved. I can't wait to see him get all the loving he deserves. Rowan was only present in a few, but I am excited to see his relationships with Cillian and Fallon develop. I like Vail, but I get tired of everyone thinking he's this perfect person. The others are so real with their flaws and strengths. I think in the other books Vail's imperfections came through a little more and he wasn't this infallible character that every loves and desires.
My one quibble with the book is that I think there was a little too much sex. 😱 I know....sorry, just my opinion. Everyone was sexing each other up (I know with 5 men there is bound to be a lot of sex), but I was like "Dudes, you are on a job for Sloan. Get it done." I started to skim the sex scenes a little by the end just looking for relevant dialogue.
All in all, this was a wild ride and there were so many things that happened near the end that set up the next few books in the Killough Company universe. I cannot wait to see what happens next!
I received an ARC from BookSprout for my honest review
Once again, I was lost in the world of crime and passion. In this book we get to see into the relationship between Cillian and Aspen. We already knew that these two men were the backbone of the five men, they are strong and determined helping to keep everyone safe and secure yet they ignore what has been there all this time. While the two are on assignment separated from the other men, they find that they cannot deny it anymore but will it bring them closer or pull them apart? When Cillian and Aspen delve deeper into their relationship all bets are off. Emotions come to the forefront and cannot be ignored anymore. Aspen is a rock and Cillian is a live wire the two could not be any more different and each one endeared themselves to this reader in their own way. I loved delving deeper into the bond between these two as they work together. They are something else and there is no denying how good they are together. Not only do we get to see Aspen and Cillian fight for what they have but we also get to see them at work. Nothing stands in their way when it comes to love and I am excited to see where they will go from here and what will happen between all of the men now. The authors know how to tell a good story and mix the action and dare I say romance together. I was pulled in right from the start and am eager for the next book to come out.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I’m enjoying this series. While each book focuses on different guys, the main characters make appearances throughout the story. Cillian and Aspen’s relationship is the basis of this book. They have been friends forever but have held back from getting totally involved with each other. Neither is great at talking especially about their feelings. When the two are assigned a job in Miami away from their partners it brings the two together in ways they didn’t plan nor were really was comfortable with. There are some really intense parts to their growing relationship and how they interacted with Vail, Fallon and Rowen. Plus there is more of Jamie and how he deals with these two. This story really gets into the personalities and what makes each behave as they do. Then there is the issue dealing with the Reyes Cartel. A lot happens and yet so much is left ongoing. A few times I had to wonder how bad the fight could get and some of the results of their fighting effects on the guys and their families. I also am a little upset with the cliffhanger dealing with Sloan. There are so many possibilities to this outcome and some I’d rather the author didn’t take but I’m anxious to see where this goes. I really enjoyed the epilogues. They were from different guy’s pov and answered a few things. Now it’s the part I hate…waiting on the next book.
This is book four in the How Do You Survive series. It is also set in the Killough Company series.
Cillian is a ruthless killer with a huge reputation in the Killough Company. Most people steer clear of him as he's not known as a patient man. With Vail entering his life, he has soften ever so slightly to the members of his found family who share a harem dynamic.
Aspen is the quiet killer who is terrifying without dramatics. He has always been by Cillian's side as his best friend, and work partner. Vail has also had an effect on Aspen, as he's talking more while also seeing he can have relationship dynamics with other members of the harem, mainly Fallon.
We follow Aspen, and Cillian on a "work trip" to Miami as part of the on-going war with the Reyes Cartel. The harem dynamic has brought forth new feelings that both men seem to be dancing around. The finally come to a head in Miami.
Aspen plays on Cillian's competitiveness, and arrogance to start a new chapter in their relationship. Cillian opens up for Aspen in ways he never imagined before they began their harem dynamic with Vail. Aspen being the quiet one of the bunch, is more than willing to mostly go at Cillian's pace as he gets used to the fact that Aspen may be more than his friend.
Another excellent book by the dynamic duo, Ki Brightly and MD Gregory. This is book 4 of the Irish Roulette series, and the books just keep getting better. I love how the relationships between the five men grow deeper with each book. In this one, Aspen and Cillian are sent to Miami without the others. With no buffer, they are drawn closer to one another, allowing the heat between them to build. They’ve always had this chemistry and unspoken bond. I love how explosive their connection is since they are both have such strong personalities. It was nice to see a softer side of Cillian too. The authors are experts at creating characters you can’t help but love.
There are hints of events with other members of their little group. There is also mention of things happening within the Killough Company. The Reyes Cartel group are definitely up to something. Those glimpses only make me more eager to read the next few books.
Aspen and Cillian are sent to Florida to take down a threat to the Killough Company. Being away from the rest of their men has been hard on both of them. When Cillian gets a nasty sunburn, Aspen takes the opportunity of caring for him to see if his long fought feelings for Cillian could turn into something more. But Cillian fights him at every turn and his mouth gets him into trouble a time or two. I really enjoyed listening to these two go back and forth. They are both tough Mafia men but have sweet, vulnerable sides to them as well. There was plenty of action in and out of the bedroom as the overarching storyline continues. And a surprise twist at the end leaves everyone reeling. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I love Keval Shah's accents. He did an amazing job with these characters.
Swoon. More Irish, just what we need! This book focuses mostly on Cillian and Aspen but we get bits of most of the guys in the Killough Company. Weaving between the romance and the story is one of the things these two writers do really well with one never overshadowing the other. When I think back to what parts of this book I liked best so many bits come to mind. There are even quick little encounters between Cillian and Aspen that are only verbal that stand out as lovely vignettes that further their relationship. The action parts of the book are tightly written and the building tension between the two men is mirrored well by the action scenes. If you can’t tell I love this book and this series.
My largest bone of contention with this series is that for maximum enjoyment I'd need to have read all the other books in this universe and some have content that I'm comfortable with so I'm stuck with half enjoyment 😔 As always these authors have books where women are practically absent, it's so glaring bright that I noticed and now I keep looking for them. There was Rosita in this one and the chic that died Noa, the waitresses and the maids. Yes, I kept count Essentially, for me this is a pleasure read however I doubt I've found a plot hole or typo. We had angst - Cillian as always, sweetness - Vail, maturity- Aspen, curiosity- Rowen and vulnerability- Fallon & Cillian though in different places
I loved this book, especially since it showed a different side of Cillian. He’s one of my favourite characters and to see the vulnerable side of him was perfect 🤩
Cillian and Aspen have so much chemistry together. They always had an underlying tension between them that was waiting to be explored. And this Miami trip was perfect for that. There’s a lot of push & pull and Cillian has his own hangups because of his childhood and his father. I love how Aspen understands him perfectly and gave time to work through his issues. When they both finally worked through their issues, it was perfect. The sex is amazing between them. It’s rough, primal and all the amazing I’ve come to expect from these men. Overall, love this book & look forward to the next one.

While this story was based mostly on Aspen and Cillian's pov, there were a few occasions of Rowen, Fallon and Vail there too.
You could feel the urgency of finding who was responsible for trying to kill Connall and Sloan, of retaliation. Amid it all however, I could feel Aspen and Cillians frustrations too, the circumstances dragging them to Miami. Also from being away from their men, and being forced to face their feelings about eachother. Aspen was always ready to admit how he felt, but Cillian was always afraid of being thrown away again, of being discarded, unneeded and unwanted.
A rollercoaster of emotions and knowing we have a second book alongside.....phew
Just when you think this series has reached its' pinnacle, you get this book!! It's unheard of for Sloan's posse not to get their man, but it has happened for the time being, and it's not a good feeling or a good look for Sloan and his men. The big changes in Cillian were quite welcome by this reader. It was a slow process with baby steps, but each one was important and impactful to the whole picture. I liked seeing the humanization of Cillian and the new coupling!! Sloan has me worried, but knowing him where there's a will there's a way and he'll find it, hopefully soon!!!! I need more of this world, and I couldn't put this down!!!
What can I say? I love the series and follow everything intertwine. Reading this I so fell in love with Cillian. SHOCKER, as I’m so a Rowen girl at heart. I can’t wait until Rowen and Fallon story comes out. Aspen I felt like was a bit arrogant for my liking here but I loved him in the other stories. I’m so happy the authors are showing us inside each guy’s relationships separate from the one with Vail. I recommend this book and say you must read from Book 1 to understand the characters dynamics. You don’t have to read Mob Boss series but I recommend as they are intertwined. Heck read all their books lol; but there’s a reading list order on the website.
To be honest Im not the biggest fan of Harem books, but these authors did an incredible job. I'm going to review the series. No spoilers. It's build up harem. All 5 characters are in all books and significant to the story but the way it's told its not just 5 men bam sex. There's actual story, character development and relationship development. Which is incredibly talented for a harem series.
The entire New Gothenburg world is a treat how each series, book entangles if you are a hard core fan. Or standalone reader can enjoy.
This is an awesome series. They need another book. I feel the series was unfinished
This is the most fantastic new book I could imagine for this series. It kept me on the edge of my seat, always guessing, and jumping back into the world felt like coming home. I missed the boys so much, and I can't wait to see what else is in store for these boys. The writing is excellent, and the characters change and develop more every book I read. My only sadness was that there was no more to read. I can not wait for the next book, I am already watching the Kindle for updates. I highly recommend this whole series!
These men!! I love them all soooooo much but Aspen has always been the quiet favorite. I absolutely adore how he and Cillian have dance around each other for years and how far Cillian has come with opening up his heart. He makes me melt with his love for Aspen!! I know they both love Vail and Fallon but their love for each other is something entirely unique and so beautiful!
My heart is breaking for Conall and I can not wait to get his and Sloan’s story because I know it will be just as epic.
This book was amazing! I have been waiting for the matchup between Cillian and Aspen for ages!! Seriously who's not going to get all excited about two toppy Doms finally getting their sh.. stuff together? And all those smexy scenes, they were absolutely off the charts hot and I mean call the fire brigade because my smoke alarm hasn't stopped screaming hot!!*swoon*. I also listened to the audiobook and would like to personally congratulate Keval Shah for pulling off an impressive Aussie accent, as the proud owner of one I wasn't disappointed! Well done!
Wow! I absolutely loved diving into the complex friendship and love that is Cillian and Aspen! They are such a unique and complicated pair. Cillian will always be Cillian and Aspen really accepts and understands all things about Cillian. Cillian's feelings for Aspen have always been real and strong but getting that out of him is not an easy task! The bond these two have is a big strength in the overall dynamic of our guys.
If you have not already started this series then you are missing out. This is book 4 in the series, the series focuses on 5 males that live together and share a relationship, each book focus on different interplay relationships between each of the individuals. 4 of the characters work for the Irish mob and the other is a absentminded professor that they all love. If you like hot sex scenes with action packed entertainment then don’t miss out on starting this series.
This series just keeps getting better both with it's story of the plots against the Killough Company and their fights to survive as well as the emotional relationships among the characters. Here, Cillian and Aspen have been sent to do a wet job in Miami and while both know they have feelings for each other, Aspen seems the only one willing to admit them, at least at first. A great mix of action and steam from M.D. Gregory.
I loved seeing Killian and Aspen grow in this book. I enjoyed learning more about them as friends. Parts of this book made me laugh. I also liked that they got to explore on their own. This book made them seem more relatable as characters and showed some insecurities. I'm already looking forward to the next book.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Aspen and Cillian have been flirting for ages. A new threat to the Killough company has them heading to Miami to take care of the problem. The UST between them and the forced proximity has them fighting for dominance and it is scorchingly hot. As the danger, drama and fast paced action ramp up, these two need to figure out their situation and fast. I am absolutely in love with this series and I can't wait for more.
I love these stories and Aspen and Cillian are the most complicated characters and I enjoy reading about them and their thoughts and struggles and how much depth they have. Cillian has the most growth in this story and it is fun and rewarding. The last part of the story was unnerving what with Sloan being arrested and the company seems not so stable. The next story hopefully will see the end of the Reyes cartel but I don't want to say goodbye to the others.
