This is Our World: A Story About Taking Care of the Earth by Emily Sollinger is story all about Earth Day. Earth Day is creating awareness of how to take care of where we live. This book goes through what it looks like to hep the Earth by recycling, cleaning the air, cleaning the pollution, and more. The overall point of this book is to create awareness at a young age of the importance to keeping our planet clean. Something I really enjoy about this book is how there are nine puzzle pieces included so that the reader can interact with the topic in a hands on way. I think this is absolutely wonderful, because a young reader can interact in a way that they learn best, by doing a puzzle. The tone overall is spot on for the age group Emily is trying to reach out to.
