What exactly do you say in a review of a 401k book? This is the first time my husband or I have had the opportunity to contribute to a 401k, so we wanted a book that gave us basic knowledge and time-tested advice without having to become experts. This book delivers on that. It is dry in places, but that's to be expected from this type of book, and there was a fair amount of humor to try to make up for that. Overall I'd recommend if you need quick, easy-to-understsnd basics.

One negative, which is not the fault of the authors - the kindle version is not great. This book has many charts, etc and kindle is just not conducive to that. So, if you think you'll want to refer to it again over time, go with the hard copy.

3 stars for the version I read being from 2003. Also it's more of a beginner and expert type, no real middle ground. All in all, not too bad.
