Book Review – Jones On Property

“There is nothing immoral or profiteering about this phenomenon that can go for an eager beaver, penniless and pimpled youth who refuses to sell out and join the public service, into a multimillionaire tycoon overnight.”

Pros:
Simple
Inspiring
Funny AF

Cons:
Old, outdated
One sided

Buy property, commercial property.
Labour sucks, national isn’t much better
Bob Jones is rich.
Taxes are bad.
Mortgage gearing protects capital from inflation.
Do not develop property during inflationary periods (long term developments) as building costs will soar.
Invest during inflationary periods. Inflation will cause the value of the asset to go up, loan stays the same.
Inflation results from an increase of credit or money supply, that outstrips productivity. Price fixing, over taxing etc will turn entrepreneurs away from the sector and will cause the problem to worsen.
Inflation used to be out of control.
