My biomolecule ranking: proteins > nucleotides > lipids > carbs. Catch me listing amino acid 3-letter codes in my sleep. Stars off for (1) glycolysis and (2) the citric acid cycle. Everything beyond "mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell" I have learned against my will.
The first few chapters of this book were actually pretty straightforward and not too terrible… the last 4 were especially confusing. There’s a strong chance I’ll have to revisit all of the metabolism information via video supplementation because what the heck was that 😐
Never giving 5 stars to an MCAT book. Overall a good biochem summary. But why would you cram all the super important pathways in 2 chapters. The chapter questions are terrible, not helpful at all
