Top golfing instructor Jim McLean shares the secret to a better swing and a better game

It's what every great golfer knows and every struggling player wants to know: how to find "the slot," the perfect channel through which the shaft and club head can meet the ball on the downswing for a more powerful, accurate, and consistent swing.

Great ball-strikers like Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, and Jack Nicklaus were slot swingers. Today, Tiger Woods, Sergio Garcia and Jim Furyk provide dramatic examples. Now leading golf instructor Jim McLean shows you how to find the slot to take your game to the next level. The information in this book is not new; the author has just given odd names to different variations of the golf swing. And much of the book is McClean proudly listing the names of old golf professionals that he has taught or has observed - and the lists of names get repeated so often it's annoying. Finally, all of the useful information in the book is contained in Chapter 4; the rest is either fluff or is repeated in other chapters.

I think I get it

I swing over the top. I know I do it but I can’t stop. After reading this book, I have a better understanding of what I have been doing and more hope that I can correct it.
