This is the 6th book in The Colton’s of New York series, but I read it as a standalone without any problem. I really enjoyed this book. Ciara Kelly just lost her husband. She doesn’t have time to grief his lost because she has a nasty black widow killer that wants to kill her and the baby, she is pregnant with. US Marshall Aidan Colton is determined to keep her safe. His team is working hard to find the Black Widow and arrest her. This lady they call the Black Widow has spent her life doing what she does and avoiding the law. Her skills are good. The agents have to beat the black widow at her own game. I loved the relationship that built between Aidan, and Ciara. As the action intensified, the trust and devotion between the two only grew stronger. This is a book I’m sure I’ll read again.

I loved this one by Addison. it’s book 6 in The Colton’s of New York series and this one focuses on US Marshall Aidan Colton and pregnant widow Ciara Kelly. Tasked with protecting her from the vengeful black widow. Aidan and Ciara and the extended Colton family come together to help ensnare the vengeful killer. Ciara and Aidan’s relationship builds stronger as does their trust and mixing in their developing relationship with the thrilling action sequences as tension builds towards the capture of The Black Widow. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this story, fabulous characters and riveting moments that will make you want to read through the night to finish it. Ciara and Aidan and the extended Colton family bring the story together beautifully. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

I love romantic suspense stories and this one didn't disappoint. Ciara and Aidan fall in love in unconventional way but these two were made for each other and just what the other needed. You see Aidan is the US Marshall hired to keep the professor safe from the black widow's crosshairs. All the time they spend together they grow close and fall for one another. I really liked Ciara especially her straight forwardness, but Aidan had some serious distrust where relationships were concerned. All that changed while protecting Ciara and the baby he found a family and love. Nice HEA and great capture of the black widow!

Aiden and Ciara's story is one of my favorites. Lots of twists and surprises. A terrific storyline and amazing characters. A definite thrill ride! I loved this story! Can't wait to see what's next for Colton's!!!
