not sure why we were told to buy the Oxford version. Both the Oxford Chem + Phy books are terrible...Anyways, I can never tell what's going on in class.

Great book, got me through high school. A little rough around the edges in chapter 7 but can easily be supplemented with online material if extra explanation necessary. Some errors in questions as well, but mostly good for practice. Great weekend read.

Actually, using the 6th edition to teach my IB Physics course. But 6th edition is not posted to Goodreads (yet). I like the good number of examples, but they are erratic in that they are sometimes a 1/5 difficulty, then leap to a 4 or 5/5. Some sections are very short and others quite long. You can't get a regular rhythm from the book based on how it is broken up. But I like the homework questions and the fact that the answers are in the back of the book for the students. I/we have found constant errors throughout the book. But all other IB physics books I researched also had more errors that I would have liked. Overall, I still expect to use this book again next year. I like the Oxford IB Physics book next, and then the Talbot book.
