Rabbits wreak havoc! Author Simon Puttock and illustrator Judith Drews have created a uniquely humorous tale with a twist…and some funny bunnies that kids can’t help but love. When Mr. Mac meets some rabbits in need of a home, he thinks he’s found the solution to his loneliness. So he invites them to stay—but, boy, are they trouble! These boisterous bunnies chew with their mouths open, pick their noses, and never take baths. Still, when they cause mayhem in the neighborhood—pulling a cat’s tail and making fun of Lucy Lapin’s brand new hat—Mr. Mac doesn’t mind too much. It’s only when the naughty creatures start to turn his house topsy-turvy that he finally decides to teach them some manners. Mr. Mac’s in for a big surprise—and young readers are in for a treat.
Uh. No. Inconsistent in some things. Does not necessarily teach or leave you with any good lessons. (This wouldn't be important if the book weren't all about bad behavior.) And the (literal) bathroom humor wasn't funny. It was out-of-place and dumb. Not impressed in the least.
