Susan Wells thought she had learned some lessons about living as a young girl, but Susan was wrong. Susan is a psychopath. There's no mystery in this story, it's a tale of personal tragedy. Usually, I don't like this type of story but this one is done well. A character in the story describes Susan as "strictly a loser" and he was right about her, but is Susan a victim of her circumstances or is her villainy of her own creation. You decide.
