Soon Jacob is in over his head, unable to tell who is a friend or an enemy, and terrified that he is losing his mind. This book had a kind of hazy dreamy quality to it that might have been because I'm not real familiar with the setting of the book or might be because the descriptions were a little insubstantial-- I'm not sure which it was. That's not a bad thing, but it did make me feel a little disconnected from the book. I did really enjoy it, although I wasn't familiar with the subject matters or setting. It wasn't what I was expecting when I went into it though. A little mystery, a little introspective character study, a little romance (both gay and straight), a little history, a little religious theory-- kind of like a buffet where you nibble at a little of everything, but don't quite get a full meal, perhaps. I'm interested to check out what else this author has written.

Actually I love this first book from the Rossi Family series. Didn't expect the m/m/m but I love it. This book was like an adventure into a hazy dreamlike story. I dont know why its not given enough credit. The story was good, it was unfamiliar but adaptable. A great read and recommended! Now time to book two!

4 звезды за тройничок (моя слабость). Минусы - страсть по тетке, такое ощущение, что роман больше описывает любовь ГГ к даме с портрета, чем к близнецам, маловато любви и чувств в основной любовной линии в общем.
