I am a LifePlan facilitator for the Paterson Center. This book shares how Tom Paterson put together the LifePlan process and goes into great detail in what a LifePlan entails. If you have any interest in the process, but are not certain if you want to make the investment into a personal one-on-one facilitation, this book will give you guidance and insight. As a caveat, the process has evolved over the years since this book was written in 1998 - for the better in my opinion.

Some quotes I found to be powerful:
"Too many people are not living the life they are meant to life. God does not intend for this to happen ..." (page 1)
"Most people aren't living the life they were meant to live because they don't know who they are or what gifts God has given to them." (page 9)
"The result of trying to function in a role for which you aren't mentally wired is going to be distress." (page 195)

I had mixed feelings about this book - it was not nearly as helpful as I heard it would be from others.

I’ve known Tom for 20 years. His spirit is as warm and loving as his words.
