Took a long time to read this, picked up and put down & picked. Not because the book was boring or poorly written but because it was so thought provoking. It is not an easy book to catergorize: muslim dialogue; mission theology; apologetics, all are aspects of this book. But most of all it is a Biblical theology/ New Testament theology and Christology. He raises insights and questions that need to be worked through. It is a book that will continue to raise questions and thoughts after reading. Whether you agree or disagree with his logic or arguments and conclusions, this is an an excellent example of struggling with the text and issues to formulate a biblical theology and Christology.
