El Dr. Donald E. Demaray ha servido en la facultad del Seminario Teológico Asbury desde 1966 y en 1991 se convirtió en profesor emérito de predicación en el Seminario Teológico Asbury en Wilmore, Kentucky. Antes de llegar a Asbury, el Dr. Demaray fue profesor y decano de la Escuela de Religión en Seattle Pacific College (ahora universidad). Además, sirvió como pastor en la Iglesia Metodista Libre y ha enseñado y predicado en Japón, Inglaterra, Escocia, Sudáfrica, Irlanda del Norte, Canadá, Hong Kong, Taiwán y Australia. Required reading for preaching class at Asbury

While this is by no means the first text on Homiletics one should read (IMHO), it is a worthwhile read. Those with a more liberal theology than I will align more easily with Demaray. It's books like this that leave one without excuse sitting in a service without anything to do. Read this book and understand why you are having a hard time following the preacher and keeping your eyes open!
