I have finished this book. And what should I say. You’re an amazing writer.
I’m a fairy tale person. Always loved Prince,Princess and kingdom type of stories. The way you describe Ehlesaar was just wow. 🤩
I was imagining it in my mind while reading.
Of course the never ending tears for the second Queen’s unrequited love by her King and her last moments and the young Queen’s short life. I don’t want to start on Aren now. 😔
I’m so in love with Declan of House Storm. 🫠
And Layana is a cutie pie 🥰
It’s an amazing story Muse. I’ll keep in mind to have a signed copy of this book from you one day. 💖

I’ve followed Moonlight Muse for awhile now but somehow never got around to reading her first book, His Caged Princess. Let me tell you, I regret that decision. This book is so unlike her other books however I liked it very much. I usually do not like 3rd person books as I somehow find them annoying but tHis Caged Princess is well written and enjoyable. Weather you are a Moonlight Muse fan, or a new Muse reader and enjoy a fantasy romance books, you should give this as try as well as check out her other novels!

Just What A Binge-Reader Ordered

Moonlight Muse doesn't miss with ANY of the books she writes. The twists and turns, shocking revelations...You fall in love with the main characters and root for them the entire time while the hate you have for the villains are so relatable and palpable. Her attention to detail in her writing gives you the ability to be in the moment and feel what each character is feeling. The action, passion, drama, and heart-wrenching moments, make her stories a cut above the rest.

Just like all of Muse's books this is amazing! For readers who crave intensity, tension, and transformative love stories wrapped in a royal fantasy setting, this novel delivers. The internal monologues and confrontations are layered with vulnerability and pride, making even quiet moments feel heavy with meaning. The gradual development of trust and attraction between Declan and Layana feels earned. The romance simmers before it ignites, building tension that keeps pages turning.

This book was Muse's debut novel. It is unlike any of her other works! She takes you on adventure into a brand new world. I adored Layana and Declan. Seriously...who doesn't want a Declan. Their character growth throughout the story was amazing! Is it wrong I wish we could get a sequel? LOL

Except one all of the Moonlight Muse books are paranormal fantasys but this one is a little different. A fairytale like story about sisters and prince. But not the typical one. There is an evil among them. But we all hold goodness and darkness in ourselves. Definitely must read.

This was Muse's first novel and still remains one of my all time favorites. Declan and Laylana's story is unique and captivating. It's tragically beautiful, and their tale unravels magnificently. Laylana is a sheltered princess (until she's not) and she has to rise up to help save her kingdom's fate. Declan of House Storm is angry, arrogant and harsh. He's sure in his path of revenge against the royal family until he realizes not all it as it seems.

I highly recommend this story and hope you love it as much as I do.
