My kid has adored this book for over a year. Definitely one of his big “go to” books. It’s a clever concept, nicely illustrated, although I coulda made the text sparkle a bit more. And...not only in this race track REALLY DANGEROUS (one out of 10 finishers), but the way each car crashes crashes in order based on their car number...I smell a conspiracy afoot!

Great incorporation of texture with this book, as the cars are plastic embedded into the board book. Sort of similar to the idea of 5 little monkeys, but instead teaches children to count down from 10. 3/5 stars.

Love this book! My children read it time and time again. The pop-up surprise at the end is also fab. I've been really impressed by the Tide Mill Press range of books.
