Days of Romance and Roses

Rate this book
In writing the book, I thought of myself growing up during this period of time. I remember Mother cooking and baking just like Anne, a wife and mother. In fact, some of the recipes are her very own. This book is dedicated to all women who experience the aspects of being a housewife, mother and confidante. The story concerns the Hanlons of Dublin, Ireland. They live their share of happy and somber moments dealt by the circumstances in their lives. The Hanlons are a very close and dedicated family. Keegan, the head of the family, is always concerned for their welfare, and his guidance heals many disputes. His humor irritates his wife, Anne, but he enjoys it. Careers are involved, as well as a courtship of love for Breen O’Grady, a beautiful Irish lass. Surprise additions to the family create fun, friendship, and a zest for life. I hope you enjoy a slice of home as you read this book.
