I came upon this book in a Little Free Library and what a find! Tons of technical details, engineering drawings, and race details on legendary Porsches from the 1960s to early 1970s. I particularly enjoyed Paul Frère's driving impressions of the 917 at the end of the book.

If you consider yourself a Porsche enthusiast and in particular share the passion for 911's then Frere is a must read.
My hard back copy is signed by Frere who was kind enough to return my correspondence and autograph my book. He wrote me from Venice, France in July of 1992. What a gentleman and a great racer/author.
