Lecture on the Thirteenth Floor

by Richard Rothgery

A man dealing with his grief from the loss of a dear friend becomes trapped in an elevator with five strangers. They pass the time by telling bizarre and personal stories about the most fascinating things that have ever happened to them in their lives. The man shares the moments before his friend’s passing, and is soothed by another's story about his journey to meet his soul. Their destination, a lecture on personal reality. Their experience, a reflection of love, forgiveness and understanding. Exploring the physical and mental aspects of time proves nothing is impossible when the human spirit is challenged. When time becomes the centrifugal force driving our lives, absolutes fade into endless possibilities.
