Delmar’s Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam Review

Rate this book
Ideal for review courses and for individual study, this book is a must-have tool for anyone preparing to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination. Concise reviews of the critical topics outlined by the Pharmacy Certification Training Board, along with review tests at the end of each chapter, assess your current knowledge and identify areas that need further study. In addition to end-of-chapter practice questions, two cumulative tests at the end of the book provide practice for taking the full-length exam. If additional math practice is what you need, you'll find 14 chapters that focus specifically on math and include additional math questions. This new edition includes greatly expanded information on pharmacology, pharmaceutical agents, the effect of drugs on specific body systems and conditions, and drug interactions.

Do you think it'd be possible to absorb this information just by hitting my head against it? I'm going to try.

Note after finishing: Giving me this book for free was my workplace's nice little "gift" to me while I was studying for my exam. Even though it was written in 2003... Rude.

Anyway--while less helpful than Mosby's text, this one was definitely better in terms of pharmacy math. Mosby's kind of assumes you already know it.
