Je Tsognkhapa (Tib.: tsong kha pa, ཙོང་ཁ་པ། "The Man from Onion Valley") was a monk of the Sakya tradition of Tibetan Buddhism whose activities led to the formation of the Geluk school, though he never announced the establishment of a new monastic order himself. He is also known by his ordained name Lobsang Drakpa (blo bzang grags pa) or simply as Je Rinpoche (rje rin po che).
This book "literally" changed how I look at Buddhism at large. I thought I knew at least something about this religion, but after reading the Lamrim, everything seems different now. I didn't expect the narratives about 10 hot and 10 cold hells as much as I didn't expect the innocent-looking guidelines about visiting a prostitute without making it a sin. But even with those in mind, this book is a legend! And definitely helping me to become a better person and a competent Buddhist.
