While plotting revenge against the bully, Katie is outraged when warned to keep quiet about how she got the broken ankle. Her new family tries to make her comfortable by sharing parts of their own past as Katie tries to settle in. Will she ever belong? To Katie, Nowhere Feels Like Home.

Review: L.K. Gardner-Griffie is a profound writer that knows teenagers so well! Both of her novels address very real issues of teenagers today and her heroine, Katie McCabe is fantastic. These books make for a great read for youngsters 14 and older. Both, Pearson Prize, Teen Choice Award winners they are by far some of the best, realistic teen novels I have read.
