As a lifelong Sherlock Holmes fan I wanted to visit a few of the places in the UK related to the stories and picked up a few books to do just that. This has to be the best of the lot. By the time we got to Devon I couldn't wait to get around many of the places that the authors talked so passionatley about. Great pictures and especially the historical element - I wasn't surprised to see that one of the authors was a leading historian.
