Italian Doctor, Dream Proposal by Margaret McDonagh

I love Margaret McDonagh's medicals and this one is no exception. In fact, Ruth and Rico are among my favourite characters yet (although it's a hard one to call because I've loved them all).

Ruth begins the book as a vulnerable heroine, and her character arc is skilfully written to show Ruth growing and becoming more confident. I loved watching this metamorphosis. Rico is a hero to die for - so sexy, warm and understanding. But then I've yet to meet one of Margaret McDonagh's heroes that I haven't fallen in love with!

I particularly loved being present at Seb & Gina's wedding (characters from a previous book) and Italian Doctor, Dream Proposal really makes the reader feel like they're amongst friends - new and old.

Loved it!
