#11 in the Carrier series. With the original author gone and "Keith Douglass" a house name, their is no great attempt at continuity in the series. As a standalone, it's readable.

Carrier series - Recorded - The Ukraine, disguising the attack as coming from Turkey, fires a tactical nuke crippling the 6th Fleet flagship. Admiral "Tombstone" Magruder is assigned to replace the commander of 6th Fleet. Under attack from Turkish Moslem radicals and pinned in the straits, the Ukraine attempts to deliver a killing attack.
