Have an older child with sleep problems? Then this book could be the breakthrough you're looking for. I got a lot out of this book and intend to purchase it myself. It categorises the forms of sleep problems that commonly appear in young children and gives you good solutions for tackling them. A realistic approach, rather than one that sets you up for dissillusionment and feelings of failure. I found it a great help, and at the time of reading wrote "Very sound practical advice and solutions for older children rather than young babies. Tells you what the help lines, doctors and nurses don't. Not every childhood sleep problem needs the Ferber method, and results take a week or more of hard work, not a few nights."
