Shattered World #4

Shattered World IV: Japan

Do Jason and Sasha have any chance for happiness? Jason and the Demon Hunters are exhausted. After traveling halfway around the world and battling so many Demon Spawn, they face their worst challenge yet -- closing an interdimensional portal that opened inside a melted-down nuclear reactor and that is protected by demons far more deadly and terrifying than any they have encountered before. Jason and Sasha finally have a chance to be together even though every day could be their last. Complicating matters is Enipsigos, the only demon to survive the closing of the Shenyang portal, who harbors a dark secret about the couple that could impact their future as well as the future of the world. What will kill the Demon Hunters first, the radiation from the melted reactor or the Demon Spawn guarding it? The first three novels in the Shattered World series were originally published as the Hell Gate saga under the pseudo Josh Matthews. Shattered World Japan is a new novel that has never been previously published.

A glorified scientific discovery creates the apocalypse.

Outstanding post apocalyptic action adventure journey. A great cast of characters and an extraordinarily awesome storyline. A group of arrogant scientists have decided they can create matter by toying around with something that many of their colleagues try to tell them is dangerous unpredictable and possibly catastrophic. They ignore their colleagues and in their arrogance attempt the plan anyway. In doing so the experiment goes horribly wrong and actually cracks open multiple dimensional portals to hell. Yes you heard that right, hell. The place were Satan demons and evil reigns. The group of scientists were doing an experiment in five cities at the same time. One in Paris France another in Moscow Russia another in China and one in Tokyo Japan and the last in the United States. The Russians in their rush to destroy it thought using a nuclear bomb would be a good idea to try and throw at this exit portal to hell. All they ended up doing was accidentally creating one extra exit portal in Siberia. Follow along as Jason who is the teenage son of the lead scientist. His mother who could not be talked out of trying this event. She is actually sucked into hell through an entrance portal that is created in Paris as well as the exit portal. Each portal has an entrance portal that can only be used to enter hell. As well as an exit portal that demons can exit hell. They are one-way doors. The only way to close the portals are to take a device to the exit portal at each location and toss this device into the event horizon of the exit portal. The only problem is at each of these exit portals there are hundreds or even thousands of demons roaming around guarding it destroying the world around it etc. Follow along and see if Jason and the demon hunters can save the world. There are many characters Who you will begin to care about. Yet do not get too attached to anyone of them as who knows who will survive. Many people die on this journey and many more will die in continuing the journey. So do not get too attached to any one of them. Will they be able to save the world and the remnants of humanity. Will the world be able to rebuild. You’ll never know unless you read on. You will want to read it from beginning to end and not be able to put it down. Good luck don’t die in the process of saving the world.

More death and destruction for Jason and the Argonauts. Oops, the Demon Hunters. The journey across the globe to close Hell’s Gates continues. Another gory tale of who lives and who doesn’t. The group keeps getting smaller, but new friends help to save the world. It was exciting and the ending a surprise and I can’t wait to start #5. See you in America, if you make it.

Read it!

Shattered World IV: Japan is the fourth book in the Shattered World Series. While each book has a satisfying conclusion without major cliffhangers, this is definitely a series which should be read in order.

I would recommend this book for anyone 16ish or older. For the first time, there is a closed door intimate scene. I'm on my way to book five!
