This is the subscriber's edition limited to 1200 numbered copies, initialed by the senior author, this being copy no. 691. Laid in at front is the original facsimile letter from S. Kent Carnie that was issued with the book as well as the original color brochure announcing the volume's publication. This fine limited edition documents the story of the Craighead brothers' visit with the Maharaja of Bhavnagar in the Kathiawar States in 1940-41. This work includes much information about the trapping and training falcons and well as the brother's adventures hunting Indian lions, man-eating tigers and wild boar. No ownerships marks and no signs of use. This is volume 2 in the Heritage Publication series.
