The Devil in the Details
Hook ups are supposed to be a one and done thing. They're not supposed to be the most amazing man you've ever met and haunt your every thought. They're definitely not supposed to accidentally reveal the existence of magical beings to the human world. The Revelation has been rescheduled and it might be the fault of Mark Stern. The man who is number one of the Most Wanted list for the Fae, Witches, Demonborns and... Well, everyone who isn't human. Instead of another year until the Revelation, where the Others were to reveal our existence to humans, we have less than a week. And instead of forgetting about the amazing, magical night we had in Vegas, I want to relive it with Mark constantly. I'm just afraid we don't have the time.

I was hooked on this one from the beginning. I think I enjoyed this one the most of the series.

What happens in Vegas screws everything up
This book really had the flow down unlike the last two and it jumps into things quite quickly. Mark is at a (boring) work conference when he meets Alastor and the two have a very fun and not time together until Mark has to go back to the conference. Both men want more and plan to see each other again, but manipulations and mysterious happening keep them apart. Then Mark's life starts to fall apart, with his research being thrown out at the conference and losing his job. He goes to a job interview with a friend but instead it turns out to be fairy business and Mark find a himself being blamed for all the problems that have plagued the supernatural community for the past year. Being brought to trial Mark finds himself face to face with Alastor and it becomes clear that those manipulations that kept the two of them apart are still screwing around with Mark's life. Everyone has to work together to find out who is out to get Mark while also under house arrest and while planning for the Great Reveal.
Mark and Alastor had an easy chemistry and their initial time together was lots of fun. It was natural that they were still attracted to each other when they met again, even if circumstances were unfortunate. As Alastor's unusual heritage comes to light, along with threat from the entire supernatural community, it puts a lot of stress on the two, but it is still something they work through together. The source of all the problems was unexpected and really made the group have to work to get through it all which made for an engaging read.
The part where everything falls a bit flat is unfortunately the end. While each book has been about an individual relationship, it has had the overarching theme of heading towards the Great Reveal. With all that build up the way it was treated at the end was really disappointing as it a!most feels skipped over. The relationship is the whole focus to the point of not really getting to see much of how anything goes on the world, which felt like a let down to the end of the series. It was an ending, just not a very satisfying one.

Mark and Alastor . . .
This last book in the series is about Alastor and Mark’s relationship. Mark Stern was at a conference and he and Alastor had an amazing night together. Plans for the Revelation get jumbled up. Mark is blamed for all things wrong in the world, it seems. Will Alastor and Mark get a chance to get back together? Will the Revelation be the enlightening experience the supernaturals hope it will be?

Fun read
My favorite line in this book! "You've got the patience of addled howler monkey on a three day coke bender!" Lololo
I enjoyed this 3 part series! The chemistry between characters was excellent and believable. The world with just enough realism to be noticed and charm for days! Snarky and funny, never a dull moment.

A great addition to this series. I just loved the characters. I had a very hard time putting the book down because I had to keep turning the page to see what happened next.
