Well, I’m hooked. For someone who doesn’t read many PNR books, I’m sure changing that this year, and this new series has serious promise. Taryn and Merick have a bond that can’t be explained right away...to one of them anyway. And once that bond is fully explained, they both know that there is no walking away from it, or each other. Taryn just has to survive the next few months while tension and danger increase, while someone is plotting something beyond nefarious, and while people she’s never imagined crossing her path are convening to protect the future. Add to this her best friend, Lily, and it’s either a recipe for disaster or for bright lives all around.

By the end of this book, I’m pretty sure if the WHY, but the WHO is still teasing at the edge of my suspicious mind. So now I need more. I need to know how Taryn and Merick’s respective best friends deal with the danger coming for everyone. I need to know how Rowan and Jonathan can ever move forward. I have so many questions and can only wait as patiently as possible for more answers!

This book is the start of a new series and it was amazing!! Loved the spins and twists and the characters were great and left you wanting so much more. Taryn and Merick are meant to be together they over come so many things I absolute love the banter and friendships and can’t wait for the other characters stories.

Let me start by saying that I am not a fan of Paranormal romances but Sacred Bond changed my mind. This story had me captivated from start to finish and I really did not want to put it down for anything. The first book in the Secrets of Stone Ridge gives us the bond that has been brewing between Merick and Taryn. Theirs is a story that is not only one that we could all picture in our own fantasy but one that you could almost want to come true. The chemistry, the tension and the love that radiates from these characters seems to find its way under your skin. I not only fell in love with the characters but the whole story. I was mesmerized and drawn into a magical world that left me craving more. Merick and Taryn have a passion that is immense and one that will make your toes curl. A story that is not only enchanting, emotional, soul-stirring but totally addictive.

At the age of 12 Taryn feels as though her life changes at the exact moment she wakes up after a wolf helps her home when she gets lost. Merrick knows his life has changed the moment he saw her in the woods lost. Fate plays a big part in their lives for the next 12 years and when they meet again their connection is even stronger. Taryn and Merrick have 2 encounters within days of each other and it shows Taryn that something is missing from her life. She takes a vacation to find what is missing and she does so in the place she felt at peace when she was 12. There she finds Merrick and it’s the start of their journey. Merrick is hiding a secret and with Taryn around now he must tell her all so that she may come to him on her own. When Taryn does find out the world Merrick lives in will she be able to live in that world. You definitely should read their story to find out. It’s a story of soulmates and having to fight the unknowns that are trying to hurt them. Merrick and Taryn have this connection that is off the charts and every scene they have together makes the story even better. The scenes with them by themselves got a little wordy and all in their heads. I love the whole array of characters in the story and I cannot wait to read about the rest of them. This is a great story and I cannot wait to read more.

Great new series by C.A. Harms and Evan Grace. It's a sizzling mix of contemporary and paranormal romance. The chemistry between the main characters Merick and Taryn was electrifying and smoking hot. The paranormal aspect has wolves, vampires, witches and shapeshifters. The story will have the readers enthralled, engaged and rooting for Merick and Taryn. The dangers are high for it's not known whose out to prevent their meant to be love. Their instant connection is fabulous and feels amazing, not fake but oh so right. I sat up half the night to finish the book and now I can't wait for the next book in this new series. What a great paranormal romance read!!

What happens when two of your go to authors co-write a book? You devour it and do not put it down. The fact that I am on a huge paranormal kick? Just added to my love for this book. Between the concept behind the bond that Merick and Taryn share and the way this whole story plays out, I fell in love with this book hard and fast! That instant connection that these two have is just sizzling and I could not get enough. The concept behind the sacred bond that these two share is beyond unique and interesting. I loved the idea and concept behind it. The witty nature of Taryn gives it that extra something that makes it so you cannot put that book down. There are twists and turns that keep you on your toes. Side characters which you also fall in love with and leaves you begging for more of them! Even as the story progressed, I was in love with the concept even more. The need for these two to be together and the reason behind it. How the other paranormals play into things. What is all coming for them. I am really intrigued and I really want more!!! So when does book two come out???

So I'm gonna start by saying that I usually don't read paranormal stories, but I love CA Harms so I thought I'd give it a try. I have to say that I am so glad that I ventured out of my normal genre because Merick and Taryn are amazing! The bond they have is undeniable and unbelievable. I love all the different characters as well and the back story of the town. I can't wait for the next because ot left me on the edge of my seat!!

I'm not a huge PNR reader but this book sucked me right in. Taryn and Merrick have a bond the no one on the outside would understand. They are the key to everything and this is just the beginning. I enjoyed reading this book and I look forward to reading more from this series.

Magical Romance

Merick and Taryn’s story starts with a meeting. It is a story very similar to Twilight but with more zest to it. It is not puppy love but deep , simmering and happening. It takes us on a journey of vampires, shape shifters and magic. This was a good read and keeps you glued till you reach the end. I love the way Merick takes care of his girl and is totally besotted with her. The humor in the whole bunch is also cute. The whole mystery is well-defined. I liked the book. I will give it 4 stars.

Wow! I got hooked from the very start and even when I finished it at 2am it still didn't let me go. I knew I'd like this book because both authors r fab and I love a PNR but this book blew me away, I couldn't put it down.
This will b a short review as
1. nothing I say will do it justice and
2. I don't want to spoil it.
Every character was brilliant, story line was amazing. The bond between Merick and Taryn was beautiful.
Im hoping the next book will be here soon because I need more.

CA Harms and Evan Grace have created magic together !

Holy crap on a cracker, CA Harms and Evan Grace have reminded me of my love for PNR books with the world they’ve crafted, and once started, I couldn’t put it down. I need more STAT!!!!!

Two authors I individually consider must-one-clickers have combined forces and created serious magic. Something even more amazing, considering how great I believe this book to be, is that this is their first foray into the world of PNR. If they hadn’t mentioned it, I wouldn’t have known. I don’t believe I’m any sort of PNR fiction expert, I just know what I like, and I liked Sacred Bond very much. I could go on forever about how awesome this world is. So much thought and feeling has gone into our fictitious characters who feel as real as any person I might bump into on the street.

The relationship between our main characters, Merick and Taryn was intense and strong as was Merick’s belief that Taryn was his mate. They were both strong individually and such an integrity to them that I, as well as the characters that surround them, couldn’t help but want to believe in them. Ms’s Harms and Grace have done awesome.

This is just the beginning of their world, and there are some secondary character’s who I would love to see come together, and I can’t wait for the possibility of their books. I am a committed fan to this new series, and I need more. Kudos to Authors CA Harms and Evan Grace for their amazing world. 5 Stars 💜

Merick will not be deterred from his agenda. Taryn is confused by what she’s feeling. Sometimes things are just meant to be. There just may be forces out there that might give things a little push.

This may read as a fantasy or paranormal but the way our authors have created this world, I could picture this group walking around somewhere right now. What surprises me is how easily the authors can create scenes that you can’t tell who has created what. That’s just one reason to enjoy this book. The other reason is how easy they make characters to both love and hate.

A secondary character that I hope to see again happens to be a friend of Taryn’s. She speaks her mind and gets me to chuckle a time or two. Besides getting to know our main characters, getting to know Lilly was a real pleasure. Merick and Taryn had me wondering how I would handle things if I were in their positions. That’s the great thing about fantasy and paranormal, your imagination has free reign. The same goes for the authors - the sky’s the limit. And I’ll be soaring for a while. Since I can’t tell when the next book is going to come out, I may have to put the wings away for a while.

I've always believed that there's nothing that C.A. Harms & Evan Grace can write that I won't love, so while I'm not a big PNR fan usually, I CANNOT state how much I LOVED Sacred Bond, and I'm here for the rest of the series! See, there's nothing they can write that I won't love. Anyway, I'm going into little to no detail in this review since there's so much suspenseful goodness to this story that I don't want to accidentally spill the tea. These twists are coming in hot all over the place, leaving me on the edge of my seat while dropping a great many loud f-bombs throughout. Taryn & Merick are fantastic as their bond is crazy intense, and one of them can't figure out why. There's danger all over the place which got the heart racing as I tried to figure things out along with them but I still have a lot of questions, and since this is only the first book, you already know the answers aren't there yet, so I'm dying inside for more! Hit those one click buttons to experience this epic beginning to a new series! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Evan Grace is one of my one-click authors, so despite the fact that I can count the number of PNR books I've ever read on one hand, I HAD to give Sacred Bond a shot. I'm so glad I did! The chemistry between Taryn and Merrick was evident from the start. Their first introduction had me hooked. As with most series starters, there was a lot of information and backstory essential to the plot, but I didn't feel weighed down by it. The pace was good and there were lots of little surprise twists throughout. Overall, there wasn't a whole lot happening that screamed paranormal, and I think that's why I was so easily able to get sucked in. There were just enough elements to hook regular PNR readers, but not too much to overwhelm newbies like me. The buildup leads me to believe the rest of the series will have more PNR qualities and I'm ready because Sacred Bond eased me into it. I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens with each character.

Wow! This was paranormal perfection. I love both CA Harms and Evan Grace. Their romances have sucked me in for years and now they have stepped outside of their zones and blown me away with this mystical little tidbit.
Stone Ridge is a special place that holds hidden secrets. Years ago the ancients there were crumbled as a force of power met them that they weren’t expecting. It’s been fated to happen. Two will join and will be the key to unlocking it all.
Ronan and Taryn are pulled by a force so strong neither can deny it. Familiar eyes, some type of recognition. There’s a connection, a bond that can’t be broken. Childhood memories come racing back. Destiny can’t be denied.
This is a fantastic start to a new series! I have so many questions. Where are we going, who is behind this, what about all of their friends? There’s lines that are connected and damaged and I want to know how, how it happened and how to fix it. I’m eagerly awaiting more from these two!

I am hooked! I am not usually a paranormal romance reader but I love all of C.A. Harms books so I decided to give this collaboration with Evan Grace a chance and it did not disappoint! I just finished the epilogue and want so badly to jump into the next book. I can’t wait for the next release!!! This book has an awesome mix of supernaturals (shifter, vampire, witch etc.) and written in a way that I could connect with these characters. It seems the plot will be ongoing in this series with the focus of each book being a different couple. Congratulations to the authors who were able to write such a fantastic paranormal romance that even a skeptic like me could love!

Let me start by saying that I’m not usually a fan of paranormal books. I haven’t attempted to read one in years until now. This is the 1st book in the series and I must say I am now hooked. I knew I would have to like it to some extent since C.A. Harms is one of my favorite authors. Once I started reading I was captivated. It really wasn’t what I was expecting. It was a 1,000 times better. This was the first time reading anything Evan Grace has been a part of. I must say I will be reading more. If you don’t like paranormal just give this book a try. I guarantee you will at least like this series.

The combination of these two authors working together is nothing short but magnificent, They have written what is to be the start of a wondrous series of beauty, love and the paranormal and I honestly can't wait to read more of this series.

Tarryn is a beautiful sweet girl who Loves with everything inside her self. Merrick is definitely all that is Alpha and knows what he wants.

I am thoroughly taken with this look into Evan Grace and C.A Harms version of their paranormal and how life in their town works. I am enjoying all the twists and turns that leave you guessing. I honestly require more as soon as possible. I hope everyone loves this book as much as I have. Happy Reading ♡

This was such a pleasure to read! This is the first collaboration between these two authors and I was pleased with the story. Taryn is feeling unsettled in her life and decides to go to the family cabin to figure out what is next for her. Merick is the only hope for his people and he needs Taryn to help fulfill his destiny and that of his family. The town of Stone Ridge is one I can't wait to revisit. I am looking forward to the secondary characters' stories. I need to know how everything comes together.

This was my first PNR book. i didn't know what to expect from it but i can tell you i liked it. i can't wait to read more of the sieries. Taryn and Merick have a bond, Only Taryn didn't know it at first. she couldn't figure out why she was so drawn to Merick at first it was something that she couldn't understand. as Taryn started to learn about it she knew she could not just walk away from it or Merick. But could she survive the next chapter in her new life? i can't wait for more in the series.

I’m a huge C.A. Harms fan. I’ve read all of her books multiple times. However, this was not my favorite.

I found this slow moving and while I understand the need to create suspense, the explanation of what happened dragged out for so long. The opportunities for explanations seemed to be wasted. The world building wasn’t as good as it could be. I know this is the first pnr for both authors so I’m willing to go a little farther into the series, especially because of how much I usually love Harms’ books.

Sacred Bond, first book of Secrets of Stone Ridge series an interesting read. I love how the story started. It makes the story captivating and catchy. I was easily pulled in into it. 

The characters, Taryn and Merick are easy to like. Both characters are easy to relate with and like. Though there are times that I want to smack some sense to Merick. 

The story, it's good. Intriguing and full of surprises. I'm looking forward to what will happen next.

As a huge fan of both authors I was excited to read this book! Having not read too many paranormal books, I was afraid I wouldn’t enjoy it. But they created a storyline that’s unique & entertaining with fun and interesting friends. Can’t wait to read the next one!

This book was crazy good. Only problem is the rest of the series is not out yet. I'm not a big paranormal reader but page by page I sunk deeper into the story line. If your not a fan of cliff hangers which I'm not wait to read this until the next book is out. This story pulled you in as I was reading I wanted to know the story behind every character. This book was just that good. Bring on the next⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A new offering from two authors I really enjoy, yes please!
I loved the connection between the characters and learning a bit about Stone Ridge and it's inhabitants . What I didn't enjoy so much was told how much time this couple spent "bonding", I felt the time could have been used to forward the story more. I will definitely read future stories in this series
