Amazing artwork with a rhyming narrative that teaches children about sea life while having the try to guess who the narrator is. Includes info on each animal mentioned at the back of the book.

This has good illustrations of all sorts of marine animals, except fish. It is a good resource for my art lessons because the animals are drawn accurately but they are also colorful. Since not all the books I used had fish, for Art Adventures 2020 I also used a printout of tropical fish. This is a good resource for me because it's also a story that could be read if there is extra time at the end of the class.

Checked this out from the library a long time ago when my kids were small, we loved it. Came across it again at the library a few weeks ago when browsing with my youngest almost teen. Rereading this now it's still a gorgeous book that is non-fiction and a picture book in one. The colors and artistry are magnificent. This book is great to read aloud as well. Definitely going to buy a copy and also look up more titles and artwork by the author. 10/10 is a closer rating.
