Fatal IntentionsFatal Cross Live!Book 4It had taken over three years to find myself after recovering from the addictions that almost killed me, but I finally took control of my life, heading to Los Angeles to settle my father’s estate before my band finished their next album. When I’m asked by my drummer to check on his sister while she is there, filming the next huge blockbuster, I jump on the chance to see Penelope Keller again without her big brother looming over our shoulders. She had her own addictions in the past, and we all knew there was a chance she could relapse at any moment. As her popularity in Hollywood explodes, she finds that the bright lights aren’t always as good as they sound. Cash Roberts and I had flirted for years, never going past the imaginary line my twin brother had drawn in the sand. Band mates didn’t date other band mate’s sisters, or however their saying went. When the bassist for my brother’s band, Fatal Cross, shows up in Los Angeles, it sets off a chain of events that turn my world upside down. I’d never taken Cash seriously until the first time he kissed me. It doesn’t take long before I’m thrust into the spotlight. Cash is there to keep me grounded even though we are separated when the band heads out on the road and I’m touring to promote my new movie.Despite the nature of our careers, can we make the long distance relationship work?

What an amazing end to a fantastic series. Cash and Penelope are a wonderful couple and a great way to end this series. Their story will keep you reading. If you haven’t read any of this series I suggest you start it today!
This was the fourth book of the series and it’s about Cash and Penny. Cash like the rest of the band had been into alcohol, drugs and sex. After rehab they all got their life back on track and their music. Cash worked hard in his youth to take care of his mom who was dying of cancer, so his early days in the band when he was self-destructing it was to hide his pain. His father was a very famous musician and when he died he left Cash everything. I didn’t get why this was put in the story, Cash hated his father and nothing else was mentioned about it in the story. Penny is Braxtons sister and he kept her away from Cash throughout the years but their chemistry I guess was inevitable. She became a Hollywood star with her very own stalker. This was resolved at the end very neatly and unceremoniously. This couple had no conflict, no drama.
Just like the 3 books prior to this one, Fatal Intentions and the author, Theresa Hissong doesn't disappoint! I really enjoyed Cash and Penny's story, the chemistry between the two of them and turning their long-time friendship into a loving, supportive and compassionate relationship. Cash and Penny have had to face their own separate addictions from the past, but they overcome their demons and they both are achieving goals, successful careers and making dreams a reality, as well as a lifelong and happy relationship together. This is a great read that readers will really enjoy, just like I did!
Both Cash and Penny have addiction issues that they both have overcome. Both are on the rise in their chosen profession. Cash a rock star and Penny a movie star. Penny 's brother is in Cash's band. He has warned him to stay away from Penny. Grab your copy and find out how they get their HEA. From a Fan... Pam James.
Cash's band has just finished recording the new album & Penny has just finished her movie. Cash went to see her in L.A. At the end of filming & found out that she had a stalker!
