This book presents varied perspectives ( relogious, social, political, legal and criminal)on this important topic that we as a human race are conveniently ignoring. However, the book leaves the reader confused about the position on Euthanasia. Thus, this book reads more like a collection of white papers with arguments on both sides and largely inferring against Euthanasia. In the defense of the book, it was written in the 70s, when the world had many other birning priorities as compared to the present issue of population and inferior quality of life of our aged, hence it seems to have errored on the side of conservatism. If you have the endurance to read a collection of white papers , do give this book a try.
