Absolutely brilliant. Stanley offers a detailed expose on commodities trading during the early 1970s (high inflationary & U.S equities bear market). The book turns 50 this year, and I suspect, and it is no less relevant than the day it was printed. Stanley's recount is sprinkled with golden nuggets, with the most precious being his detailed and candid commentary, as real time trades were initiated and subsequently developed. Warts and all.
Relevant to today's market, commodities are readying to embark on the next great inflationary bull. As global markets (especially western) come to grips with inflation, and its not so transitory nature, commodities will lead markets as equities and bonds tank - typical of stage 3 bear market, whereby commodities boom. Highly recommend to readers of all experiences.
