I liked this book, the story line and how there was word and phrase definitions on the margins but it was very hard to understand at some points in the book. I would recommend this book but would also recommend to get the version that explains the phrases because it helps to understand the best you can

The first time I read this I was amazed by the language, characters, and how Shakespeare could create a story that outlived him. The second time around I found myself deeply amazed by how Shakespeare could say so much in so little. I enjoyed reading this classic iconic tale and I know I will read it again someday. I am most certain that the next time I revisit this play I will find more little discoveries.

Romeo and Juliet is a book that taught me that love is stronger than anything. When there is love you are willing to go against your families just like what Romeo and Juliet did. This book also taught me that what we learn as children will stick with us for the rest of our lives. I think this book was very intense and breath taking.

At school we had to do an assignment on this book. We had to pick a character and make a scene that could of happened inbetween other scenes. I loved the language the characters and just the whole part of this book. For this assignment i got the highest mark in the whole of year 10 english. I think i loved this book too much.

Oh Romeo. You silly fool. Oh Juliet. You silly fool.

Taught this for the first time in 17 years this year. And yes, I have been teaching for 17 years.

Lordy, I forgot how much sex there is. But, oh, how I do enjoy this little, complicated, imperfect play.

Das Buch ist Klassiker den jeder gelesen haben sollte, allerdings war die Sprache sehr anspruchsvoll. Die Geschichte selber ist zur heutigen Zeit auch sehr unrealistisch.
