The Warning, Consolation, and Miracle

Rate this book
This booklet of Roman Catholic eschatology discusses the apparitions of the Virgin Mary at Garabandal and at Medjugorje. The author believes that both sets of messages predict a similar set of events. The messages of Garabandal and Medjugorje include special blessings for the Church and the world, believed to occur in the near the Warning, the Consolation, and the Miracle. These events are the first three secrets of Medjugorje, three blessings are given to the Church and the world as a preparation for the start of the end times (the tribulation).

The Warning is an illumination of the conscience of each and every human person on earth. In this brief supernatural event, God reveals to each person the sins that remain on their conscience. It is a day of sorrow and repentance worldwide. This booklet discusses the nature of the Warning, how different people might react, and the lasting effects on society. The author believes this event will occur on Good Friday, in either 2017, 2022, or 2023.

The Consolation is another blessing from God, occurring two days later on Easter Sunday. This event offers supernatural consolation to all those who repented from their sins at the Warning on Good Friday. Those who do not repent, will not be consoled.

The Miracle is a third blessing from God, occurring on a Thursday in May, after the Warning and Consolation. This event coincides with the feast of Blessed Imelda Lambertini, a young martyr of the Eucharist and the patroness of fervent first Communions. At Garabandal, the Virgin Mary revealed that the Miracle will coincide with a special event in the Church (unrelated to the Miracle itself). The author believes that this event is the canonization of two Popes on the same day.

The author, Ronald L. Conte Jr., is the translator of the Catholic Public Domain Version of the Bible, a conservative Catholic translation of the Latin Vulgate. He has written several other works of eschatology, as well as books on moral theology, Biblical chronology, Mariology, and salvation theology. He has been writing about Garabandal and Medjugorje for many years now.

Note from the "This book about the secrets is my own personal understanding, based on what is already publicly known about the secrets, and based on my interpretation of the Bible as well as my study of Catholic eschatology over the course of many years. I only write what I sincerely believe to be true. But I am fallible, so the future may be somewhat different than what I have written. I know that this book may be controversial, especially among devotees of Medjugorje and Garabandal. But I believe that the dates and events of the future can be understood, to a limited extent, through the study of eschatology. The reader should consider my writings on this topic to be speculative opinion, not dogma or doctrine."

Divisive and misleading

I have no doubt March 25, 2016 will come and go. The author's methods of determining the dates of what is to be re: warnings and chastisements are based on some strange theories derived from a false apparition and a yet-unapproved apparition, along with a few oddly-interpreted bits of scripture taken out of context.

The author complains about Catholics who believe what they want, without accepting the authority of the Catholic Church, but he does just that. Medjugorje is not approved; it can't be until it ends. The seer Ivan has now been silenced from conducting any further meetings in the U.S. and he's being obedient.

Garabandal has failed in many of their predictions. The blind man (Joey L) who was supposed to receive his sight has died... Finally, if a layperson such as myself can see plainly all kinds of demonic activity going on in Garabandal, how come a "distinguished" eschatology expert such as the author cannot? The girls marched frantically through their town backwards for hours. The "lady" told them NOT to bring her blessed objects, the "Angel" let them kneel before him... etc, etc. Creepy. You can Google all the ways Garabandal fails as an authentic apparition...
As scripture says, only the Father knows the time when the world will end.
