I first read this book and did the activities in it when I was a kid after buying it from the souvenir shop of the Cincinnati museum. It was fantastic fun and taught me a lot about the burial rituals that I hadn't previously had much occasion to learn or much ability to find out about because in those days I didnt have a computer, much less internet, and being a kid i was constrained in how much research I could do by how often my mom was willing to drive me to and from the library. After the Egypt exhibit and this book my imagination ran wild with everything I wanted to learn about ancient Egypt, and consequently I found every book I could read about it and every activity I could participate in even remotely relating to the subject, and now in my adult life I have a whole lot of (more or less useless) knowledge about a really fascinating subject.
