I've read a bunch of knitting books on socks and this one is the least complicated, likely because it's such a small format. There's a variety of styles in here but there are lots of better books out there that also explore different heel styles, top-down or toe-up, as well as various cast-on techniques, that this book doesn't even touch. If you're newer to knitting socks, this might be a good introduction but maybe also just a good book for inspiration. There's just so much information on sock knitting out there!
