As the Fight Doctor for 17 years with Ali, Ferdie Pacheco knew Muhammad Ali, and had a literal ringside seat of the Ali Circus. It’s an illuminating story as well as tragic. As a boxing fan, I enjoyed this book. I did not learn much new, but it was an enjoyable read all the same. Ferdie can write and keep it interesting.

Dr. Pacheco was in Ali's corner. He gives us a first-hand account of the Ali Circus as he calls it. He points out that Ali fought well beyond the point he should have. But he makes clear that Ali was a willing participant.
