Rate this book
A potty training book for super toddlers! Reassure and encourage your child to use the potty with confidence with this fun and friendly book! Help the superhero toddlers on their potty-training adventure. Do superheroes poo on the moon or on the potty? Do they wear their knickers on their heads? By lifting the flaps to choose what happens next on each page, children help the superheroes learn all about potty-training in a fun and interactive way. This book is perfect for children beginning their potty-training journey and taking their first big steps towards toilet training with confidence. 'Toddler' is a term used to describe children aged 12-36 months. These months are a time of great physical, emotional and social development. The average age that a child begins potty training in the UK is between 18-36 months. Potty training should begin when a parent determines their child is physically and emotionally ready to focus on taking this big step.

I received an eARC courtesy of Imagine That and Edelweiss in exchange for my honest review.

I will preface this by saying that I previewed this in a digital format, so I cannot speak to the physical book copy.

This book confused me. I think perhaps it is the uncertainty with the function of the lift-flaps. I would think maybe one of these would be wrong in each set of 3, but that doesn't seem to be the case on every page. So I'm left feeling conflicted about whether this would work for my library's families.

That being said, the illustrations are very charming and I think kids will really enjoy the playfulness of it (as well as following the cat through the book too).

Fun and funny lift the flaps. Demonstration of different kinds of potties. Exploration of potty sounds. Didn’t like the last page with food rewards though. And funny reference to superhero underwear in or outside of clothing wasn’t teaching a clear message.

We bought this book for my 2.5-year-old daughter as she's struggling with potty training.

I get the idea behind some of the illustrations and flaps, and others I have no clue.

Her favorite is picking all the wrong things because we laugh at her lol
