This fully revised volume in the Science and Technology in Focus series tells the story of how forensic anthropology came to be and how it has been used to solve some of the most notable crimes of the last 150 years. Starting with the murder and dismemberment of a prominent Boston physician in 1849 and ending with the work of today's forensic pathologists
Perfect for my high school class! Written with as simple language as possible for a science-based book, and with plenty of case studies to keep kids interested.
this book isn't for everyone but if you have a preclivity to delve into science and the slightly morbid you may like it. I think the book was well handled, informative and interesting. Light enough for a lay person and intense enough to feel like you could grasp the basics. Very thourough. Liked it a lot.
Finished reading this yesterday, and I was interested to find I did not know as much about Forensic Anthropology as I thought I did. The discipline is much broader than I thought it was. Good book.
