Rate this book
Safiyya likes to ask questions, sometimes difficult ones. Her father, who enjoys long walks with his daughter, will often respond to those questions with stories from the Qur'an. On one particular day, Safiyya's question prompts her father to share the extraordinary story of Prophet Musa and al-Khaḍir, upon them both be peace. Through this story Safiyya is reminded of the humility and patience required for her spiritual journey, and that there is more to life than meets the eye. Join Safiyya and her father as they journey through the story about the fish in a basket and the remarkable lessons that are taught upon the meeting of two great seas of knowledge!

This is such a beautiful book to read with your child, or even just yourself. My son is 2 so I don’t know how we’ll be paid attention tot his but I know I’ll be reading this to him as he grows older. There’s such a wonderful message and wisdom in this book. A great supplement to other texts about the Surah al-Kahf (the Cave) in the Holy Quran.

It’s also a great book to read during times of tribulation, especially during the lockdowns. So grateful to have a copy of this to add to my child’s growing library at home.
