I'm giving this one four stars for historical interest. Judging by this, I am glad that I was not around to get sick in the mid-1800's. The method of extraction was scary, the fact that the author/doctor didn't have a name for formic acid, and that his tinctures were tainted with other substances didn't lend a lot of credibility. The lists of symptoms were gruesome and fascinating! Those nineteenth century Britons really knew how to get sick!
